Been a lot of bad news about Priest. It’s nice to see a positive one. Father Fournier is a brave, dedicated man, and a hero to Catholics and many Christians. He rushed into the burning Cathedral to retrieve the Crown of Thorns, purported to have been worn by Jesus Christ on the cross as he was crucified, and the Eucharist (per Catholic beliefs, literally the Body of Christ). FOX has had several they were interviewing start to mention the recent atrocities against Catholic Churches in France, and Shepherd Smith and Neil Cavuto have cut them off in mid-sentence. I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re scared sh-tless that someone will imply it might be terrorism. Why is that? Why are they so concerned about protecting the reputation of Muslims while an icon of Christendom is being destroyed. I would expect this from CNN & MSNBC or any other MSM, but what’s up with FOX? It seems to me that the other desecrations are relevant. What am I missing?

I’m well aware of how difficult it is to narrow this down to five. Virtually impossible. Perhaps they should increase it to 10? [Hidden Content] Here’s how I got hooked (without HBO). Family member kept hearing about it. While on a business trip, watched an episode. Being intrigued, he bought the first season on DVD. After watching, and warning it was a little risqué, he gave it to us. Me, being disappointed so many times in shows/series that were suppose to be great, started it with skepticism. In this case, bam we were hooked. We bought the second season. Fortunately, most of the risqué was gone, but the story was there. And what a story. We gobbled them up, like eating popcorn. Had HBO one year, but still bought the series. Don’t have it now, but HBO is giving free viewing this weekend on Direct TV. We plan to watch season 7 today to refresh our old brains. Alas, after that, we’ll eagerly await the final season coming out on DVD. Great show that I really, really, hate to see end.

Good! This is one guy that lethal injection is far to lenient. Just off hand, I can think of quite a few more appropriate forms of ending his life.

Not sure what’s up, but a lot of explosions toward Silsbee from Evadale. Went on for 15 to 20 mins. Don’t know of any reason for fireworks. Hope everyone is okay.
