  1. Btw Lawman, if this is about your job, I totally understand your anger and frustration. Many of us have had financial setbacks. I lost my job of 32 years to company downsizing at 54. After a long search, I found another job (making much less). I then had to work until I was 70 to retire, so yes, I feel your pain. What I don’t understand is why it’s directed at Trump. Yes he had a Repub Congress his first two years, and he concentrated on what he knows best, putting America back to work. You’re a pawn to politicians who are putting Party ahead of our border security, and our Govt workers. And I haven’t heard one viable solution from them for anything. Their whole current platform can be condensed into a few words - Hate Trump and Tax the rich (rich = a Dem euphemism for anyone not on welfare). Jmo but your anger/frustration should be directed at the democrats.
  2. A wall, nor 10,000 more Border Patrol agents are going to completely stop illegal immigration. No doubt boats full of them will attempt to enter, but it will slow it down. There coming in now by the thousands, bringing and spreading diseases. Once in, they’re costing the American taxpayers billions. If you’re against the wall, why? And then, what is your suggestion to protect our borders? I just read this a few minutes ago. [Hidden Content]
  3. Okay, in an effort to promote fairness, and so this won’t be a totally one sided thread, I pick HJ 88-87. And in case you didn’t understand the above, no, I’m not betting.
  4. Questions I repeatedly ask myself. Only explanation I can come up with, they’re Democrats first and Americans second.
  5. Amen. National News found it so important when it was a white man. Then a black man confessed - end of story. In case any of you on the left don't get it, based on the news stories, it's only bad to kill a young black girl if you're white. It's okay if you're black. That's the News people you rely on to keep you informed. Again, how sick/sad is that?
  6. I still contend that stopping welfare checks would get the Dems on board. Shutdown all Govt Housing. Harsh measures, but it's all the Dems understand.
  7. Despite any negative comments from Chris Wallace directed at Sarah Sanders, we need a wall. Again, it is illegal to cross our borders unless you've gone through the proper channels. You can build a wall and curtail a vast majority of illegals, or hire 10,000 more border patrol agents, build hugh facilities to house the captured illegals, & furnish food, clothing, & medical for the hundreds of thousands of illegals until their eventual deportation. And this cost goes on forever. It's a no-brainer we need the wall. It's sad politicians, in this case the Democrats, won't do what's right for America, & is making Govt employees suffer. Btw, I have a relative who is a Govt worker, and he & his wife are behind Trump 100%. Difference between you & them, you're not affected by illegal immigrants as much as we are in Texas.
  8. There’s the stevenash we know and love.
  9. Great win by Huntington. Congrats.
  10. Hello, what’s up with that?
  11. History Channel - Project Blue Book. This Series is starting up tonight at. According to reviews, it is a fairly decent replication of what actually happened. [Hidden Content]
  12. I can’t help but wonder, if folks on welfare weren’t getting their checks, if the Dems might be more inclined to work with Trump? Okay, I’m through wondering. You durn right they would.
  13. I agree to some extent. Any team that does nothing but lose, gets use to losing. Winning builds a tradition somewhat, or at least a winning mentality. That creates a solid base for improving the program. Jmo.
  14. Can you imagine if a new Republican Representative had said that about Obama when he was president?

He should be. Everyone should be, Rep & Dems, but when your brain is programmed to accept negativity, and think it’s good, it’s impossible to accept when things are going well. Especially going well for lower and middle income folks. I’ve yet to figure out how their brains have been programmed like that, but I suspect the Russians did it. Damx commies, lol.
  16. The accusation that he had blue eyes was the clincher. No way you see blue eyes in the dark from moving vehicles, unless he was an alien off a UFO, then, maybe. But now America can go back to sleep. Poor little girl is dead, but it’s okay now. She wasn’t killed by a white man. She was killed by a black man, nothing to see here, move along. There’s a real sickness in this scenario. RIP Jazmine.
  17. Fact is, it’s illegal to cross our borders unless you’ve applied for, and been approved to enter legally. Now, there’s no way to stop illegals 100%. So, if we’re to uphold the law of the land, you can do one of two things, without actually just killing people. You can build a 6 Billion dollar wall/fence, or you can hire another 10,000 or so Border Patrol agents, plus build huge holding facilities to house, feed, clothe, and provide medical care for the thousands of illegals they’ll detain, and eventually deport. Boom, that 6 Billion is gone, plus many billions more, year after year, after year, after year ad infinitum.
  18. On the one hand, I give BE an attaboy for some sound suggestions. On the other hand, you can’t get 99% of Democrats to admit when the Party is wrong. Heaven knows, and I know, the Republicans screw the pooch often enough, as do 90% of my fellow posters. For any of you old enough to remember Happy Days, you’ll remember how Fonzie couldn’t say he was sorry. It’d come out, “I’m sor, sor, sor, but couldn’t quite get it out there. I think many Dems knows those Democrat controlled sanctuary areas are wrong, they just can’t/won’t say it. The biggest problem is the Loons who think it’s okay to have sanctuary areas. They are NPC’s.. Heres an 8 minute video explaining NPC’s. [Hidden Content]
  19. Wonder what’s up with the Bobcats. After a lackluster season, they come up with two unexpected, relatively impressive wins. If this was in football, there’d be 40 responses
  20. Just a couple I’m familiar with. 21-5A will be a good one to keep an eye on, since it has some good local teams. In 21-4A, an interesting shootout between Splendora & Huffman-Hargrave In 22-4A, look for a dogfight for Third & Forth after Silsbee & HJ.
  21. Never. IMO, the best there's ever been.
