According to what I’ve read, our Govt thinks it’s citizens can’t handle the truth. IMO, most could handle the truth about UFOs, but I doubt they could handle the truth about our Government.

All conservatives know it’s true. Even some liberals. I find the fact that all liberals don’t know it very disturbing. Not only is there bias news, but also fake news, primarily due to the Lefts hatred of Trump (TDS). The bias can take several forms. Headlines on the Left might say, BORDER PATROL USES TEAR GAS ON IMMIGRANTS, while headlines on the right might say, IMMIGRANTS ATTACK BORDER PATROL WITH ROCKS. Both equally true, but worded to satisfy their readers. What is more dangerous, imo, is the guise of simply not reporting events that don’t fit ones agenda. While discussing events on another venue, I’ve posted significant things (again, imo) that have occurred. The Liberals will accuse me of posting fake news. I have to research for a sight they’ll accept. Several times, none of the MSM Left sites have reported anything. I usually end up posting a local TV or Newspaper in the area where the incident occurred. Cest la vie. [Hidden Content]

I’m not sure. Only beat a bunch of nerds (Htn Math & Science) by one. District is a powderpuff. The two Beaumont schools can possibly beat them, but that’s about it. Yep, West Brook & United are the only obstacles. Besides, what do I know, I thought Ned could beat Bridge City.

We need an equivalent of Ellis Island built. It needs to be a secure Compound built somewhere near the border. Potential immigrants could be housed in tents if money is the problem. There they could be vetted for morality and illnesses while awaiting acceptance or deportation. And yes, numbers per country need to be limited. Congress has sit around with one thumb in their mouths and one in their a$$e$$, rotating them every hour, long enough. Do what’s right for America, not what’s right for whichever Party.

You have to know that many of these illegals are from the criminal element. Unfortunately, we have no statistics of how many. A simple check of the primary countries involved will give you an indication. Murder rates per 100,000 people. US - 5.35 Mexico - 19.26 Guatemala - 27.26 Honduras - 56.52 Are these the type people we want in the US? Certainly not without a secure border, and vetting. Don’t expect to get food from the outhouse.

Based on all the info, Hillary & Biden will be loading up also. And everyone knows how bad she wants to be the first female president. And don’t underestimate the power and influence the Clintons have in the Party. Writing her off to early is a mistake.

Virtually all of the above are good points. I do have one thing to add that I feel very strongly about. Any immigrant that serves in our military that gets an Honorable Discharge be given Citizenship with that discharge. To me, it’s a no-brainer. On illegals already here. As Eng. & BE has pointed out, this is a tough issue. I’d suggest this, and this is a one time offer: Set a time, say they been here 5 years (10?) and are self sufficient, with a clean record, give them access to a speedy process to apply for citizenship. If they have not completed the legal immigration process within a year, they’ll be deported. All others not meeting the requirements would be deported. Our biggest problem with immigration is that most of it is tough. And if it’s tough, Congress is hesitant to touch it with a 10 ft pole.

Law Man is right about one thing, Triump isn't a Dem or Repub, but that was part of his appeal. But I'll admit he goes "A Bridge to Far" sometimes.

The point I’ve tried to make while talking with folks, 6 Billion dollars to our Fed Govt is pocket change. Everyone knows it’s not about the money with the Dems. Trump promised his supporters a wall, so they refuse it, even though the country needs it, imo.
