And since it doesn’t happen, why do they continue to believe it? Ocasio-Cortez is a believer, and is spewing that bilge. Why? And I use to wonder how people like Jim Jones & Marshall Applewhite (Heavens Gate) could convince so many to commit suicide. To many people are FUBAR.

No doubt it was, for Nederland. What was avoidable is a school the size of Alvin not having a more competitive basketball program. Of course there could be some valid reasons - several top players may be sick, or benched for disciplinary reasons. Just hate to see kids/schools getting shortchanged. If no valid reason, the Alvin School District needs to step up. Jmo

The information in that link aligns with my suspicions. I suspected when he voted for Obamacare something was rotten in Denmark. Now it sounds like something was rotten in Ireland. And yes, it makes a h-lluva lot of sense.

What BE doesn’t grasp, she is a joke herself, as are the people that voted on her. Put her and her voters right up there with the full time college student who won County Judge of Harris County, and her voters. Clearly not the best candidate, just a democrat. One of the main reasons of the American Revolution was “taxation without representation”. In many urban areas in America today, the folks that work are in the same situation. They’re taxed but with no representation. The representatives are being elected by folks who don’t work and pay taxes. Perhaps it’s time to rethink our voting laws. If you pay no taxes, you don’t get to vote. Sounds radical, but also fair. But alas, it’ll never happen.
