Glad you wrote it RR30, and you’re right, I haven’t seen anything about it in the news, unless it was a 5 second mention that I missed. Unfortunately our media is more concerned with Trump bashing, and much of it is subtle. A year after the Hurricane based Puerto Rico, CBS did a big story on how bad it still is, including, “Many are still not back in their homes”. Well whup-de-do, many were not back in their homes a year after Harvey. If you want media coverage, I’d suggest contacting any major network (except FOX) - tell them how bad it is - and tell them it’s Trump’s fault. And I’m not making light of the tragic situation on those islands, I really believe that might possibly get coverage. Until then, all we can do is pray.

No doubt in my mind. I left the game last year thinking they ought to be real high. Have a couple of good 3 shooters, kids that could move the ball around the court, and a post who’ll dominate most teams. I think he was 6’5” and built like a linebacker, and move pretty good under the basket. I’ll get to see them at the HJ Tournament.

Watched Shelbyville beat Evadale the last two years. Think most of the team back from last year. They’ll be a force.

No doubt District 9 is a good district, but I don’t see it better than District 12. Marshall’s close loss to Carthage is very impressive, and they & Lindale both won their playoff games, as did Nederland & PNG. But the other two teams from D-9 got b-slapped, while one team from D-12 was close to beating Manvel until the turnover bug killed them in the 4th quarter. Plus Lindale got donkey stomped by 5-5 Pine Tree 56-28, who didn’t make the playoffs. Also, Lindale beat Montgomery by 14. D-12 had two teams that beat Montgomery worst than that. Vidor beat them by 28 and Barbers Hill by 21. So regardless of any numbers from MaxPreps, no one can convince me that as a whole, D-9 is better than D-12. But as one of the D-9 faithful pointed out, all the above means diddly-poo. It all boils down to the games Friday. This one “should” be a high scoring affair, with PNG winning by two TD’s minimum, but in reality, you never know. Scalp’em Indians. Safe travels to all, and no injuries to any players.

No doubt the Marshall Basketball Coach could use all those 6 ft + guys. Maybe he’ll be in the press box calling bad plays to get’em back. Hey, just thinking outside the box Regardless, If Marshall comes into this game thinking its going to be easy, I feel sorry for them. These dogs don’t come come out barking, they come out biting. They’ll easily have the heart factor. And if you’ve watched enough HS football, you know that sometimes, that’s enough. This should be a really great game.
