  1. You must be a relative young man that has bought into the Dems “black victimhood” scenario. I’ve seen water fountains that said White Only - have you? I’ve seen eating establishments that say White Only - have you? You’ve bought into the “poor, poor, black folks” that the Dems have brainwashed you with. Racism is the same as it was in 1875? Good grief. You really need to expand your knowledge of history, and quit letting the Democratic Party tell you how, or what, to think. Whether you believe it or not, many in the Dem Party want to keep you as a victim. Want you under their control. Please make an effort to think for yourself.
  2. And if "they" all mysteriously disappeared, how long would the USA last? That would make a good book. I'd guess maybe 3 years. Most of the military would be gone. Who'd protect the country?
  3. Absolutely lmbo.
  4. Personally, I’d like to take that sob out and bullwhip him until he was covered in blood.
  5. Maybe a little over the top for immediate concern, but certainly a step in that direction. And I do believe there’s a desire on some powerful people’s part to lead us down that road.
  6. As Englebert has pointed out, BAD WORDING IN MY POST. WHO DO YOU THINK WILL PREVAIL. btw, to paraphrase a football term, ROLL RED TIDE.
  7. Who do you think will win the “battle of the waves”, or will gridlock prevail. Ahem, yes, bad choice of words - “who do you like” - lol.
  8. And I’m sure Beaumont voted predominantly democratic. It’s a racist town. If you don’t think so, get a white liberal friend to walk down Irving street some Saturday night. Sorry Badsanta, but everyone is tired of the racist card. Especially since Beaumont was the scene of a dispicable race riot in 1943. Beaumont, like all towns, has its share of racist. Don’t put it up on some imaginary pedestal while looking down your nose at Vidor, Evadale, Nederland, Port Neches and Lumberton.

  10. OOL but that’s funny, and true lol.
  11. Can you imagine the MSM coverage if the KKK was marching for a white candidate? And there’s still people who deny media bias. Btw, according to Wiki, she owes $50,000 in back taxes. Just the type person to run a State. [Hidden Content]
  12. They’ve thrown out any semblance of decorum. Were I a democrat, I’d been embarrassed over that debacle, as I’m sure some were. The irony in that sickening display, imo, it not only forced many independents into voting Republican, but it got the Republican base off its collective behinds and headed to the voting booth. If I’m right, the full impact of the Kavanaugh Hearing will save the day for Republicans.
  13. It’s time to fish or cut bait. Who do you like?
  14. OOL, but I like it. So many times on any Forum, someone takes a sentence or half a sentence to skew what you’re saying. Sometimes by accident, as someone reads it to fast & doesn't grasp the meaning. Other times......... This is not directed at Bulldogpower, but all of us. Heck, I know I’ve probably done it. But it does get frustrating. Anyway, I got your meaning, and thank you for the post. Those kids in Vidor have put it all on the line this year. And, imo, they deserve all the praise they get for their efforts. Certainly anyone looking just at their record, has no idea how good they are.
  15. No doubt some Vidor fans are disappointed, and yes I'm convinced the defense schemes could be better, and yada yada yada. Facts are, the smallest school in Dist, and it sounds like more injuries than most. But to those up in arms, I've seen Vidor teams go years without winning. In 1987 the Pirates scored 48 points. In 1962 38 points. Fact is, before anyone starts calling for Matthews head, remember how many really bad coaches there are. And I've seen to many coaching at Vidor. There's a good reason for folks saying Interstate 10, Vidor 0. At least now they have to go to Highway 69, Vidor 61.
  16. I anticipate a 10 point minimum victory. In my own little world, all the things I'm hearing are encouraging. I've mentioned the long lines my son encountered in New Caney on a Tue at 10am, & the Dist by San Antonio that voted R for first time since Civil War. I've a Relative who lives in Ga who is voting Republican for the first time ever. I've seen several post on other Forums of others doing the same. I'm usually overly cautious about being to optimistic, but all the signs I'm seeing have me pumped up. And after 2016, I think the Blue Wave talk is a MSM pipe dream. I'll still have my fingers crossed, but I'm looking forward to Tuesday night.
  17. Literally, the last hope for our country. If Texas falls, it’s all over. Stop and think about that. If Texas goes Blue, our Republic loses. We’re the last obstacle in the Ultra Leftist agenda to turn the US into a Socialist/Communist country. They have NY & Cal, they just need Texas. That’s how important your vote is.
  18. I haven’t follow the story much, but what little I’ve heard makes zero sense, bordering on asinine.
  19. Even more reason to wonder how stupid Americans have become. The Left has been anti-Semitic for decades, and more recently openly hostile to Jews and Israel. And when something happens like the shooting, the Left wants to blame Trump. Go figure.
  20. No doubt. My response, Don’t Mess with Texas.
  21. What a timely post. I just read this today, although I doubt California will pursue any legal action. [Hidden Content]
  22. I wonder how future historians will talk about this. Europe, for centuries an object of takeover by advancing armies over whom they untimely prevailed, wiped out by Mastercard. Got to be a little irony there.
  23. Yes, by all means get out & vote. Dems are continuously talking about the potential that Russians are interfering in our elections. Well look who’s interfering in Texas’ election. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] I find it disturbing that so many in other States, like California and New York, are trying to buy a Senator from Texas.
  24. Lol, it was an appropriate name. You've brought up a good point/question I’ve always wondered. Most sell sausage as links, but a Beaumont Link is unique. I’ve never seen, or heard, of one anywhere else (although Broussard’s on 11th & Wash Blvd has a place in Houston now). And now that most try to eat a little more healthy, I’m not sure they’d be well received. I don’t eat them often anymore, but still have to have one every now and then. It’s called quality of life. Question for anyone who’s ever ate a Beaumont “grease bomb” style link from Deans, Patillos, Gerard’s, or Broussards. Have any of you ever bought one outside this immediate area? One more story I’ll tell. We were getting together with my sons family (he grew up on Deans links) in Porter & he wanted some links & bbq. We got 3 or 4, and bought some recommended bbq, that I found very disappointing, flavor wise. We put it all in a big aluminum pan, with the links cut in half. I was aggravated about the bbq though. By the time we got together, and reheated everything, the grease and flavor of those links had turned the bbq into something infinitely better, and the meal was a success.
  25. My all time favorite on Links or brisket was Deans which use to be on Grand, then built a new place on Magnolia, before going out of business. Like you say about Patillos, when old family had it on Grand, it was perfection. Went down a tad when son took over, but still great. When he couldn’t run it anymore, no one else wanted to step up. Absolutely, hands down, the best bbq sauce I’ve ever tasted, by far. I went into Deans at 5 or 6 with my Dad to get bbq. In those days, when we got home, you take a slice of bread & a fork to pierce the links. They’d be swollen up, about to burst. I remember the grease sailing over a foot high before, thus the slice of bread as a shield, much like Capt Kirk for the Enterprise. I’d mix a little sauce with the grease and sop it up with my “shield”. And that has absolutely nothing to do with my high cholesterol, bp, or carotid being 50% blocked lol.
