  1. Look Realville. Smack talk dem cougars. Badmouth the Eagles. Heck, even flip off the Cowboys, but don’t ever, ever, post that stupid song. And my Ex-buddy Chorizo just had to start it - throw up dem V’s. Where’s the upchuck emoji?
  2. I’m now an authority on False Memory Syndrome. What has happened recently to Ford and Ramirez fits the scenario exactly. Initially neither one was sure Kavanaugh did it. Now they’re both sure it was him. This after being grilled, questioned, and prompted by their attorneys, a magazine, and others, all who want to keep BK off the SCOTUS. Those actions are what create FMS. Anyone who believes ever accusation is reckless/careless. If you believe, without proof, then by example, you believe the thousands of alien abduction stories and Bigfoot sightings. Do you? Probably not.
  3. If Schumer is a big Rosenstein supporter, he must be part of the lefts Deep State. I sure wish we all knew how big it is. No doubt they’re trying to usurp our government.
  4. Do you have any idea what all was in that Bond Issue? Was it all necessary, or was there some high dollar improvements that could have been left out? I don’t know, I don’t live in Vidor, but there must be a reason it failed. You need to recognize that Vidor has never had a big industrial base in its tax area, unlike Port Arthur, who has two hugh refineries to pay for its schools. Do they need new facilities? Sure they do, but items in a Bond Issue need to be prudent.
  5. Unless I missed a game(s), Crosby is 6-5 against Ned, PNG & Vidor 2010-17, so they certainly haven’t dominated. I’ll grudgingly give them the edge this year. They seem to have a good team. I’ll be pulling for them after District, but I’ll pull even harder if they lose to Vidor
  6. Out of likes, but a Touché will do.
  7. Just curious CCRed - you probably don’t know for sure, but I’m curious who you think Dayton fans might be pulling for? I know y’all use to have a big rivalry.
  8. Sorry - quote malfunction.
  9. Found a NYT Article Where They tried to corroborate Ramirezs’ story, but couldn’t. They also stated that when she contacted Yale classmates, she admitted she wasn’t sure if it was Kavanaugh or not, and none of them knew anything. [Hidden Content]
  10. Ned by at least 14. Like the Vidor Crosby game, it’ll be in the mud, and the blood and the beer, and those folks on the other side of the trinity aren’t use to that.
  11. Have to agree Tim. Head one thing, heart another. And Jmo, but a wet, muddy field probably hurts a Slot T offense worse than any other. Still, since Crosby hasn’t had but one TO all year, maybe they’ll do some catching up Friday. If they do, it’ll be interesting.
  12. It was a miracle baddog. A magazine and her attorney only prompted her for about 10 days.
  13. Glad you posted that. On a liberal FB timeline, Kavanaugh (and me) has been getting hammered. They want it to be true, and facts be damned. But I noticed that a couple of the most intelligent liberals haven’t joined in. My speculation has been that they know how absurd Fords accusations are. If that’s the case, they sure won’t join in on Deborah Ramirez sudden memory of a blackout at Yale.
  14. Amen. Saw a picture of a sign in front of a store yesterday. Per my feeble memory, it said, “Diapers and politicians need to be changed ever so often. For the same reasons.” Profound and funny.
  15. I hate to think of the long term ramifications of what’s happening. If being nominated for the SCOTUS is going to result in this type character assassination, in which, guilty or innocent will haunt Brett Kavanaugh his whole life, how will the republicans ever again find a “good judge” that’ll be willing to chance it. This woman, Deborah Ramirez alleges, while at Yale, she was at a “drinking party”, where she quickly became drunk and ended up on the floor in a foggy state, slurring her words. So in this inebriated state, she remembers Kavanaugh exposing himself to her. Now remember this. Initially with the New Yorker magazine, she was reluctant to identify Kavanaugh. Then, according to the article, “After six days of carefully assessing her memories and consulting with her (democratic) Attorney, Ramirez felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away.” [Hidden Content] Now readers, I’m not proud of it, but in my younger days, I got stoned cold drunk several times, to the point that the next morning I didn’t remember what happened. Still don’t, except what I was told the next morning by my Army buddies. For Ramirez to suddenly remember after so many years is, imo impossible. According to an article in the NYT’s, “You have to be careful about memories becoming contaminated by people’s questioning. People can then take the information you’ve given them and create a false memory that’s not actually true.” Well after six days, and her democratic Attorney, and the New Yorker, wanting this memory, here we are. Btw, this time lapse of many years, and then remembering something, is identical to stories of the many people who claimed to have been abducted by aliens. So if you believe Ford and Ramirez, you might want to get you a tin foil hat. [Hidden Content]
  16. And Ned FD can stand down. Nature will take care of “watering the grass”.
  17. To take a line from Johnny Cash, they’ll definitely be rolling around in the mud, the blood, and the beer (well, Gatorade lol).
  18. Chests like that weren’t invented when I was a toddler.
  19. Field will be a quagmire. Vidor had quite a few fumbles. Whoever wins the turnover battle will probably win the game. For this game, I wish Vidor had store bought grass. Lol, that’s a simpleton projection, but it rings true for this game. Crosby seems to have a little trouble with the Slot T. That’s the only reason I give Vidor a chance. I not sure any other team will challenge them, but that’s just what my senile old brain comes up with. Could be wrong.
  20. Sorry, but A&M needs some tackling drills. Hate to see what the Pee Wee thread people would say about those misses.
  21. Yes. Just saw the chances of rain for Wed thru Fri 90%, 60%, 60% Of course, things change. Hope not for the worse.
  22. Out of likes, but I like this one to much to go silently in the night.
  23. I suspect the results of that race had the Dem leaders in Tx (& a few nationally) breaking out in hives. God help me, I do love it so
  24. Just looked at projected forecast for Bmt, Wed thru Fri - 70%, 60%, 60%. If the game stays in the Boneyard, it’ll be the mud bowl. On the plus side for Crosby, if they beat Vidor, they’ll win the coveted “Best in Orange County Award” lol. Sounds like turnovers will make ya or break ya, and Vidor had quite a few tonight (in the mud at LCM). They do that against Crosby, it’ll be a long night for the Pirate faithful. On a good day, on a good field, I think this would be a great ballgame. Only because Crosby has had a little trouble with the Slot T.
