I think I saw an add that they're going to have their own television channel. I'll put that right up there with How You Can Have a Jamican But(t), or whatever it is.

Not sure how this got zapped, but it ain't right. Anyway, I dedicate this Post to Tx Hoops. Poor Hoops is what is known as a UD (UFO Denier). Strange in this day an age. They land in Evadale all the time. You usually see'em when you drink a couple of pints of Bubba Rebs shine. So here you go Hoops, watch and learn. Even though I seen it before, I still get a kick out of it lol.

Well here's an editorial that agrees with me. [Hidden Content]

A couple of quick observations from a retired person who woke up at 3:30, and is aggravated he didn't sleep longer. First, I could've put likes on all of them, but since we're limited, I didn't. Second, greatest use of the two words "and furthermore" I've ever seen. Third, based on these outstanding post, I want some of that flu medicine you have As for the voting age, at least 25. Anything over that (35) I'm good with. Only exceptions would be anyone with an honorable discharge from the military has voting rights. And a sidebar comment, anyone getting an honorable discharge from the military who is not a citizen of the US, should be given citizenship at the end of his service. Imo, that person is a better citizen than the vast majority of natural born citizens of his age group.

Oh, I know the Pandora's Box, but I just wanted to enjoy the thot for a moment. But IF it ever came to past, who would decide what is fake? Why me of course

LRF, I'm disappointed in you. Busting my dream bubble of the Feds arresting 90% of the CNN staff. You could've kept it to yourself for another hour or two. Party pooper!

Hey, if Iran doesn't like him, imo, that's all the more reason to be an proponent of his nomination.

As I've gotten older, sometimes I'll see a news story I like, and you know, I don't want to think about it too much. If I do, I might have to confront the negatives, or why it's not a good idea. I just want to revel in the goodness of it all. Roll around in the righteousness and give an imaginary high five to whoever had the brilliance or cajones to come up with it. Such it is with this story, from little Malaysia. So before I do think about those negatives (which I know are there), or someone points them out, hats off to that Indonesian country from Evadale, Tx. [Hidden Content]

Here's a disclaimer. I had two sites tell me it wal Tytler, and now it appears that Tytler may have only came up with half of that, or none at all. Gotta love the Internet. Regardless of who or when it was written, I'm in a hundred percent agreement. BTW, I was told we're a Republic, not a democracy. Who knew (everyone but me lol)? Minor difference, but the results are the same.
-
Baddog, your post is as profound as Tytler's. And my response to your question is, I don't have a clue. Why did they have so many, with so much knowledge and foresight? A mystery to me as well.

I stumbled across this profound quote of Alexander Fraser Tytler (1747-1813), a Scottish advocate, writer, and historian. I was startled by the accuracy of his words, as they describe the "life" of a democracy (America). This, in a nutshell, validates the old saying, Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. I'll preface this by telling you his studies concluded, on average, democracies last two hundred years. "A democracy is always temporary in nature.. It simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will exist up until the time it's voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship." And here is his sequence of events: From bondage to spiritual faith. From spiritual faith to great courage. From courage to liberty. From liberty to abundance. From abundance to selfishness. From selfishness to apathy. From apathy to dependence. From dependence to bondage. To me, that's a record of our path. Jmo, we're in the selfishness stage, very close to apathy.

And the student leader of this bunch of bugger eating morons, is upset that he'll be required to wear a see through backpack. Please, don't dare infringe on his rights, while he wants to infringe on all gun owners. The boy's been eating to much Tide.

No doubt. Identical to the hundreds that attend Global Warming in their private jets. The leftist elite epitomize the old saying, Do as I say, not as I do. They demand things, but believe themselves above those demands. Sanctimonious Idiots.

[Hidden Content] Saw on local news they had one in Beaumont. The leaders of the left are pulling puppet strings. Right out of the Marxist playbook. There's only one way for this to eventually end someday, and it'll be a bloody mess.

My thoughts - It was a bi-partisan effort to drop a last minute pile of poo into Trumps lap. Imo, the congressional republicans have come out of the closet against him. I'm bewildered and frustrated. Impeach them all? Why the hail not! It's bad enough our Congress puts Party above constituents. Now they're putting each other over an elected president.

Study - Sex Change Surgery Increases Suicide by 19%
Hagar replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
I don't know the percentage of mentally ill suicides, but I'd suspect it's lower than 19%. My point is, should this surgery be allowed only for the few born with physical problems, and banned for the many who just think they want to do it? I say yes. -
Study - Sex Change Surgery Increases Suicide by 19%
Hagar replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
That may be the line given to the sheeple, but I wonder if those at the top of the leftist food chain are pushing this surgery as a form of population control, to augment Planned Parenthood. -
I can't verify this story, but if it's true, Science doesn't get any worse than this. [Hidden Content]

[Hidden Content] That's a staggering increase, if accurate. For example, if a new "Super" medicine was developed, that would help millions of people, but cause 19% of them to commit suicide, do you think it would be approved? No, never. So why are Dr's allowed to continue doing these surgeries? And while we're on healthcare, why do Governments give free Methadone to addicts, but not free chemotherapy for cancer patients? Just another mind boggling day. No wonder some don't watch the News.

First good news I've heard in a while. -
Since this tournament has been so crazy, maybe that bodes well for an Aggie vs Red Raider Final. We can only hope.

Schwarzenegger plans to sue big oil for ‘first-degree murder’
Hagar replied to LumRaiderFan's topic in Political Forum
Perhaps he might consider suing the company that made his anabolic steroids. Appears it may be affecting his brain (or what's left of it).
