I don't want to hear the Irish National Anthem, nor Australia's. I will again relay the article I read in the Parade's Ask Marilyn Column some years back. The column was a question/answer variety, and the lady, Marilyn Vos Savant, had the highest IQ recorded at the time. I forget the specifics of the question but it pertained to, "Was 'such in such' a danger to the American way of life". Her response was, "I think hyphenating Americans was the biggest danger". Examples:. African-American, Italian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, etc, etc.. And I heard an interesting question recently by a comedian. If an African-American moved to South Africa, would he be an African-African?

Just curious, do you know if any schools have contacted #24 Cole Ferguson yet? He was good last year as a Soph. He was real good this year. Can't imagine what he'll be like next year. I'd think some colleges would be interested.

I think the schedule Evadale played might have mislead some. When you're 2A and play most of your games against 4A and 5A, and play in the HJ tournament, it'll throw a lot of losses on you. I thought we could play well (maybe not beat) with any 2A. Admittedly, I'm biased. We did have a great bunch of shooters for the 3's, and Coach L did a great job of getting them setup.

Ditto on the efforts of both teams. The Dragons 6'5" linebacker playing post gave us fits. I'm proud of the run the Rebels made. Good luck to the Dragons the rest of the way.

Lol, you're a typical liberal, as posted above, an obedient sheeple. But don't take that personally, that identifies about 85% on the left. I lost relatives fighting the Nazi's, so no, I'm not a Nazi lover. I'm not thrilled with the Republican Party, most conservatives aren't. The proof, we elected a democrat for president, but since both candidates were Democrats, we voted for the lesser of two evils. When's the last time you critized a Dem politician? Trump was definitely not my choice for president. But I'll admit he has exceeded my expectations. Party lines? To most conservatives, that's a joke. Had a lady call me prior to the election from some kind of poll. Her initial question was, "Or you a Republican or Democrat"? I told her, "Wouldn't it make more sense to ask if I'm a conservative or liberal"? You let a good conservative run as a democrat and I'll vote for him/her in a heartbeat.

What happened to (to quote a Star Trek movie), "the needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few"? And what I can't figure out, what has taken common sense out of the human equation? Was it our educational system? Was it the TV shows they watched as kids? Or just to much TV? As bad as Trump may be in his personal life, how could anyone support, or even defend Hillary is beyond my understanding. I've never heard a democrat admit anything bad about her, except Hoops. And, imo, the gun control, homosexuals, gays & TG are merely means to an end.

Based on some of the things being done by some schools, I don't think it's a stretch of the imagination to think some may have a local Dr. Prescribing steroids to the athletes of some schools. Guess I've just loss faith in so many things, I can't help but wonder if money changed hands to influence this Dumb Decision. Yes, I see a lot of greed, and unscrupulous stuff going on, but I see little integrity. But in all honesty, my position is probably skewed by the media.

I wish I could find fault with your post Coach, but other than a smidgen of doubt (hope?) at one or two things, I can't. I'll say this for the democrats, when they made a big left turn many years ago, they stayed the course, allowing Republican Presidents to be elected, knowing that they'd get their chance. Now, with Feinstein and Pelosi being labeled moderate by most in the Party (I guess moderate now is just an ultra liberal, which is what they are), by any definition what you have left is Marxist. And your last two paragraphs are prophetic. All of us can see what Obama has done to the judiciary. Imo, about the only thing holding our country together is the SCOTUS, and only by a hair.
