  1. Polls reveal interesting information. I questioned 100,000 adults in SE Tex and here's the results. Question was: Does you car/truck have a Turn Signal lever/indicator? 50% Yes 25% No 25% Don't know Of the 50% that said yes, I ask:. Do you know how to use it? 10% Yes 40% No 40% Not sure Me, I'm not surprised.
  2. And I thot that would be close & this would be a blowout. No wonder I didn't get that job at Ceasars Palace to pick point spreads.
  3. I feel bad for Boling. Getting beat is one thing, but repeated fumbles will leave you with a big "what if" gnawing at you.
  4. Durn good effort by the Bobcats.
  5. Canadian has a pretty good ball club. Gunter is making a statement.
  6. Ride your tradition, pride and discipline. Y'all can win this Stangs.
  7. Oh, no doubt they're changing, but those at the top will still pull the strings in Congress. An independent-socialist. Another in a long line of things I'd never anticipated.
  8. Exactly. It's sad it's come to this. We, the people, are the losers.
  9. Honestly I know nothing about him, but if he has to vote as the DNC requires him to do, it wouldn't matter if he were Barry Goldwater. That's my point. The man/woman's personal position is irrelevant. The likes or dislikes of their constituents is unimportant. Virtually all our congressional representatives vote what the parties dictate. I'm sure many of our younger posters would be surprised that 50 years ago a vote may have looked like this: FOR: 200 (R-90 D-110). AGAINST: 180 (R-95 D-85) But you'll never see that again.
  10. [Hidden Content] This has gotten insane (you know it's insane when I'm defending a democrat). This woman was forced out of running for office over an accusation a fellow employee made several years ago, under the guise of zero tolerance implemented by the Dem Congressional Committee. How crazy is it when one unsubstantiated accusation keeps you from running for office?
  11. Unfortunately, it's my perception a democrat in Congress doesn't have the opportunity to vote his will, or those of his constituents. You lockstep with the party. A practice the Republicans are trying to emulate. Essentially, the DNC & RNC decide what's important to the folks of Texas, New York, and Kansas. Not a situation I care for.
  12. [Hidden Content] Gotta love them jarheads, and their offsprings.
  13. That's certainly a possible scenario, and one that never entered my flu infested brain. And based on that story, we could possibly see more revelations in the near future. What better way to "innocently" expose them?
  14. [Hidden Content] I particularly like the comment of the gay man who isn't involved with these wackos.

    Italy....

    Good!
  16. I remember many years ago hearing about the New World Order, and at that time, was very skeptical. I'm now convinced. I'm also convinced that some (many?) Repubs politicians are in on it, and all the Democratic Polticians. To be fair, some of both parties may not believe in it, but are actually helping under the guise of following party lines. I suspect that the Bildeberg group is involved, and 99.99% sure Soros is one of their proponents. He may be a pawn of theirs, because this isn't so much about money as it is power. The Rothschild's have both. I have neither.

  18. Miss him yet lololololol. Sure, like I'd miss a boil on my buttocks.
  19. We all said there are some bad cops. But the Police are given a lot of latitude when facing a threatening situation. From what I read, he was pointing, what appeared to be, a rifle, with a scope out the window. Cops that show up have no idea, other than that report, of intentions of those involved, or how many are involved. That is the only reason I can think of for not just cuffing him in place - concern that someone else might appear from room shooting. Dude must have been drunker than Cooter Brown. Once, in my youth (mid 20's) after a night of "fun" catching Red Snapper & consuming free adult beverages, an officer had me spread eagled against a car, & i turned my head a little, he advised me if I did it again he would blow my motherblanking head off. Instantaneously, I went from inebriated to stone cold sober. Adrenaline? Almost for sure. Can't think of anything else that would cause that. Guilty? Looks guilty from video, but I didn't hear trial testimony. Did he have a right to shoot? Jury thought so. Should he have shot? Doubt 95% of officers would have. Even if it was a legal shoot, it wasn't a righteous shoot. As JV Coach said, he probably ought to get in another line of work. Jmo
  20. Not only are the kindergartens laughing, she's got an old man, who has the flu laughing. No mean feat.
  21. Thanks for the clarification. When my kids were growing up, none of this select ball, AAU, ETC, didn't exist (to my knowledge). After my kids grad (87-91) I only kept up w/HS football from a distance. Still remember my initial epiphany of all this. G'son was playing LL in Evadale, and we went to play Vidor. Imagine my surprise when I saw how bad they were. I'm thinking, this is ridiculous. Ask a friend from Vidor, what's up? This can't be your best. He told me all the best were playing Select Ball. He then brought me out of my time capsule. Even six years later, it's a bit overwhelming. Almost like the fun of sports as a youth has turned into a business. And some of the parents - don't get me started lol.
