And did Trump have the FBI go after her? No, he didn’t. So if you find this type action at the very top of our government exhilarating, let’s talk about a similar scenario. Trump does get re-elected. He has the FBI do a full court press on the Biden Cartel, the Pelosi’s, the Schumer’s. Via the law and the courts virtually wipes out any opposition to his agenda. Would you find that as gratifying? Even I, as a conservative, find that unsettling. That’s not how our government is supposed to work. But here’s the deal, that’s pretty much the road we’re going down now.

This ridiculous Inventory Reduction Act call for 87,000 new IRS employees. Taxes are allegedly only to increase for those making over $400,000 a year, and that’s approximately 1,800,000 taxpayers. Avg income at irs, $118,000, so just their salary is over 10 billion. Can’t see that helping reduce inflation, or helping the Fed budget. And when those 87,000 new agents are finished checking those folks making $400,000, what next? They’re coming after me and you. You can go to the bank on that.

Here’s my limited knowledge & opinion. I’ve been in pain (back/hip) for many years. Initially, taking Tylenol 3 & 4 there were brief instances of a euphoric feeling. Didn’t last long per dose, and soon didn’t happen at all. Keep in mind, my experience - others may react differently. Also, my body built up tolerance from the pain aspect, a lot quicker than I could’ve imagined. I think most others do also. Dr’s increase pain med strength, & body builds up tolerance. It’s a vicious circle. So those taking to get high need the fentanyl to get their buzz, but the same pill that gives them a buzz, taken by Joe or Mary who’ve never taken pain meds, kills them. Unless the meds were legalized & given by Dr’s with a full knowledge of past use, we’ll continue to have these overdose deaths. We all know, that ain’t going to happen, so I see no solution. I hope my information has given you, at least an understanding of why we’re having the deaths. There’s no way to balance the wants/needs of the illegal user with the proper dosage.

I repeat, this District will be very tough this year, and any of 4 teams could win District, but here’s the deal: Vidor won the District last year. Has a good nucleus of returning starters, and I’m pretty sure the JV went undefeated. How anyone could leave them out of the discussion for repeating is beyond me. And since the District will send 4 quality teams to the playoffs, perhaps the District of Doom (9-4A-D1) won’t have the cakewalk they’ve had in many year past. You’re correct, actual facts don’t lie, for the very definition of fact says it’s the truth. If you believe everything the MSM says as fact, then we can end the discussion here, for I do not. Nor do I readily accept the word of those who investigated the voting. Up until relatively recently it was “fact” that Trump was involved in Russian Collusion. Investigated and confirmed by none other than the FBI. But now we find that wasn’t “fact”. It was information, and wrong, and verified by what was considered the most efficient, apolitical law enforcement agency in the country. Here’s some facts. Trump had tens of thousands attend his rallies, Biden often (if not always) less than a hundred. Trump had a popular running mate to garner more votes, while Biden had the first Dem primary candidate to drop out from lack of popularity. Trump had record number of blacks & hispanics employed while Biden had buddied up with a KKK leader. Based on those facts, I find it impossible to accept Biden getting a record number of votes. Only rebuttal I’ve heard is Orange Man Bad. But my opinion on the vote is based on those facts, while yours & others are based on the MSM & questionable investigations. Either of us may be right, but I’m entitled to my opinion just as you are yours.

Not only am I surprised, I’m very disappointed that folks in a relatively conservative State like Kansas would do this. Just reminiscing about subtle changes in our mores. Not sure you younger folks even realize many of them. On Friday’s, all school menu’s were fish or seafood of some kind. That was to accommodate the Catholics who, at that time, weren’t allowed to eat meat on Fridays. Wednesday practices were out for Little League so Protestants could attend Prayer Meetings. Just a couple of little things that have changed. There’s still a semblance of recognizing Sunday as a day of rest. I’ve no doubt the atheist are working on squashing that too. The above changes came about slowly, unlike the gender fiasco they’ve started now. They’re rushing that one. Wonder why? Are they just impatient or emboldened? Changes are usually a good thing, when eased into society, but some of this new stuff is ridiculous. And ramming it down peoples throats is liable to backfire. Don’t remember what was up but it was a thread several years ago. Someone had a program from about 1940 of a Vidor vs Port Neches game. I think there was one kid at 200 pounds for PNG & the rest under 170. I think Vidor’s biggest kid was 167. I’m amazed at the size of the kids today. They’re massive.
