I'm way out of my comfort zone on this topic, so my question may be considered dumb, but bear with me. You made a valid point - Why count the Seniors? I agree, it's not logical. If I understand, the snapshot is only for two years. If that's correct, & counting 8th grade is the problem (in big districts) why not just count 9, 10, & 11. Of course, you'd have to adjust numbers/placement, but it seems like a better system. Is this even feasible?

Me too. Having followed Vidor for many years, I love to see a school program improving, and Deweyville is doing that. I got the Pirates beating WS and making the playoffs, which is well deserved after quite a few close losses. Saw them at Evadale. Played a heckuva game.

As an example, Dianne Feinstein, a democratic congresswoman for about a quarter of a century, who two years ago I would've considered far left, is now facing opposition from within the Dem Party for being a 'centrist'. In politics, blacks are as close to a monolith as you can get. I think approx 93% vote Democratic every election. Sure sounds monolithic to me. And before you start ranting about the democrats are for the black person, take a moment and look, objectively, at what has become of the black race as a whole under the wing of the democrats.

I was referring to the game being over, then all of a sudden, a rekick, and more football. But yes old buddy, seeing as many games as I have, I've seen a bad Ref call determine an undeserved win, because it happened on a two point conversion right at the end. Just human error, or biased, I can't say, but it does happen occasionally. But in fairness to the Officials, we wouldn't have the games without them, so we have to take the good with the bad.

Much as I love the Pirates, they've historically had trouble with predominantly passing teams. I hope they prove me wrong.
