Is it just me, or does this tearing down of statues compare to Nazi book burnings? Where does it end? [Hidden Content] It's statues now, but don't for one minute think it'll stop there. CBS News has shown Stone Mountain the last two days, so that's in their sights. And let me stop here and ponder, where are the artist and sculptures who I'd suspect would be outraged that some of these priceless pieces of art are being destroyed? And destroying Stone Mountain, that may well be the straw that breaks the camels back. Uniforms, flags, bust perhaps in the Smithsonian, and many other museums? And there are some statues as headstones in graveyards such as Atlanta. Will the graves be desecrated? The MSM gives these Antifa fascist (ironic name) all the validity and empowerment they need, much like Joseph Goebbels did the Brown Shirts. Think me crazy, but there's many similarities between what went on in Nazi Germany in the early 30's, and what's going on in America today. The Nazis blamed the Jews for all their problems. Now, the problem is any American who is conservative. And it's going to get worse, much worse, especially if you live in a City or State controlled by Democrats. They've repeatedly shown their willingness to give Antifa, or BLM, Carte Blanche on lawlessness. A fact that the MSM reporters ignore, or fail to notice.

Why do some of us tear up, or get goose bumps to a song or at an event, while others just ho-hum along? Why are so many whites on welfare? A couple of reasons. First, our economy has been so bad, so long, many have had to go on welfare. Second, welfare has become so lucrative (evidently), that many on welfare live better than those that work. Your description of the liberal vs conservative posting is correct. Not often, but to many times, I've had to apologize, or concede that my post weren't quite up to snuff. I cannot remember any liberal poster on here do the same. I don't ever remember leaving a post directed at me unanswered. On this thread alone, I've challenged liberals three times (at least) with questions or assertions that they have failed to respond to. Why? I can only imagine that they were wrong - knew it - and haven't the gumption to admit it.

Hitting a woman in the face with eggs as she was leaving a Trump rally. Physically attacking others going in and coming out, with no police presence, or police not doing anything. Attacking those on the right at Berkeley, and other colleges, again with no police involvement. The guy who wanted to shoot all the Repub Senators. If one group of idiots, on either side, can get away with it, the other side idiots will want to. Honestly Dove, in our current atmosphere, wouldn't you have anticipated a confrontation? Had I been the Mayor or Governor, I'd had more police there than demonstrators & counter demonstrators. Why didn't they? And if you read my earlier post, a person training for the ministry said people were hitting each other and blood was flowing, but the police stood behind the barricades watching. I'm sure they were ordered too. Don't you find that strange?

Allen West had a statement in his editorial, "And if a statue can oppress you, then I submit you have greater issues". I tend to agree with that.

Did you find it strange in that list that none of them where in African countries? I was surprised.
