  1. My assertion that physical attacks upon white republicans, where there was no police intervention, that predominantly happened in cities & states under Democratic control, was because, it was just white republicans, so let it happen, has not been refuted by anyone. Thanks to watching to much TV, I've concluded that this scenario matches Occam's Razor (the simplest answer is most always correct). As I said in my original post, I hate to think it's come to this, but evidently it has.
  2. Lmbo, that's a classic.
  3. Great editorial by Mr. West. He mirrored my thoughts, but has the ability to put them into words so much better than I (me?). And his mention of the coverage of this tragedy by the MSM is right on. They've turned this into a left wing propaganda film, spewing their vitriolic message that is soaked up by the Left. I have yet to see what ignited the clash. The white supremacist, dispicable as they may be, had a permit to march, and spew their hate. And Mr. West questioned, as I did, did the counter protestors? As we both questioned, why wasn't there a larger police presence? Why did this tragedy happen? The blame falls squarely on the shoulders on the Mayor and Governor.
  4. Old Coach's preseason poll. Just another conversation piece. [Hidden Content]
  5. Yep. Saw this & thought of him.
  6. Have you ever condemned BLM, or the BP? I'm not comparing them to the Klan. That's not the point. Many on the right, myself included, have condemned the Klan and Nazis, but the left rarely admits that they harbor hate groups as well. If you aren't a hater, you should condemn all hate. Just saying.
  7. Sorry new tobie, but you'll have to show me where your post are that condemn the BLM or Black Panthers.
  8. Oh, heaven knows there's enough hate now. No doubt the folks attacking the republicans numerous times, hate them. BLM people got outraged when someone suggested All Lives Matter (hate, racism, or both?), and it goes without saying the KKK, Neo-Nazis, and Black Pathers are racist and hate. So the marchers are haters, so does that make the counter protesters haters, since they hate the haters. Yep, hate is rampant.
  9. Lol, good thing they don't have to play the PNG offense.
  10. I agree 100%. Based on last years results, it appears Vidor's defense (and many other teams lol) has a big problem with a good passing attack. But PNG did hold Vidor to 21 points. Speaking of which, do you anticipate an improved defense at the reservation?
  11. I've hesitated to bring this up, mainly because it reeks of conspiracy theory, but here goes. Virtually all these politically/racially motivated attacks where the police do not intervene, have occurred in cities with Dem Mayors and States with Dem Govenors. Repeatedly in California. My question is why? Only thing that comes to mind, it was primarily white republicans being attacked, so let it happen. If you disagree please let me know why, because I hate to think it's got to that point. I would like to be wrong. If it's not, "it's white Repubs let it happen" (which as I said, I don't want to believe), there's another scenario, even more distressing. Could this be some Machiavellian scheme for some nefarious plot? Right up there with the grassy knoll, but I'm trying to understand. I would appreciate for someone, conservative or liberal, to please give me another explanation.
  12. Okay, I'll concede that many (virtually all) of the demonstrators were KKK/neo-nazis. And, like any racist hate groups (Black Panthers, Hamas, ETC ETC), I don't condone or defend their views. The fact is, as dispicable as they may be, they had a permit to march. Anyone, (you, me) in authority in that city/state would be aware of the enormous potential for violence to erupt. My point is, why didn't the authorities have enough police there to stop or contain the violence? A minister in training had this quote in an article in the NYT: There was no police presence Ms. Caine-Conley said. "We were watching people punch each other; people were bleeding all the while police were inside of barricades watching". [Hidden Content] Now, I know you rarely come to the pit (political forum lol). And we've had some good interaction in the HS football thread, so I respect your intelligence and opinion. Don't you think the authorities should have had a bigger, active police presence? And this isn't Monday morning quarterbacking on my part. I've posted that something like this was going to happen several times in the last few weeks. I just don't understand it.
  13. I will admit some teams can stop the Vidor Offense, but since Vidor scored over 40 points on five teams last year, maybe there's a little more to it than just stacking the box. Heck, I've seen seasons when Vidor didn't score 40 points.
  14. Are you absolutely positive that those folks marching to save the statutes, who by the way had a permit to march, were KKK or neo Nazis? I certainly don't know, nor will I take the word of the leftist media. It's possible that they were simply white southerners who still have pride in their ancestors sacrifices to leave the Union. Right or wrong, there should have been enough Police there to keep the peace. In this case, the blame lies with the Dem Gov of Va (Dem equivalent of McConnell), and the Dem Mayor of Charlottesville. Imo
  15. Evidently, it's heading to Texas. I'd just bet you some coin there will be more cops than protestors, and a semblance of order will be maintained. I hope so. No more car crashes. [Hidden Content]
  16. [Hidden Content] Repubs have RINO idiots, mand Dems have their socialist/racist idiots.
  17. Obviously I was the only one who anticipated this tragedy occurring. [Hidden Content] Oh, and I just saw this. Once again, the Police stayed inside a barricade and did not try to intercede. In their defense, I suspect they were told not to get involved. This has been repeatedly happening, for about a year now. What's up? Do the authorities want stuff like this to happen? [Hidden Content]
  18. It was ridiculous for her to attempt it. I'd even had trouble getting through it - now lol.
  19. Mental illness? You talking about me again?
  20. I think frustration set in over all those putts that shaved the hole. He did lose his composure on the Green Mile, but honestly, his golf game was solid until those last three holes. Still, he surprised the announcers for 15 holes. I got the impression they were ready to write him off on the first tee.
  21. Finished 15 and he's 3 out of the lead. Once again missed putt on edge. One positive is that he hasn't suffered a meltdown, which I think the announcers expected. He's played great, and had half of those "edge" putts went in, he'd be tied for the lead.
  22. Putter is killing him, by fractions. He's shaving the edge, but relatively make able putts aren't going in. But still plenty of golf left.
  23. After nine holes, Chris is tied for the lead at -7.
  24. Chris hanging in. Bogey on #1 and birdie on #4. Still one behind Kisner. FYI - Direct TV channel 705.
  25. I can't imagine how you deal with the pressure, first time in the last group of a Major. I just hope Chris keeps his composure, and and avoids a total meltdown. He did a fantastic job of it Saturday. I'm pumped up. A win would be fantastic.
