Too politically correct? Board drops 'Lynch' from school names
Hagar replied to LumRaiderFan's topic in Political Forum
I do know a few liberals that don't have mental illness, but we (conservatives) have to understand, as the Repub Party has been infiltrated with RINOS, the Dem Party has been infiltrated with socialist, and imo, everyone of them is mentally ill. -
Can't believe no responses, but it might be a great idea for the Forum to put together a little scramble tournament for members. Have to have a blind draw for teams are I'd be out in right field all by myself

Leader is in at -4, and Chris is in at -3. Could we have a little Cherokee......

You actually have Aggie friends?

Best as I can tell, the request to obtain the emails was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ - a conservative counter to the ACLU) through the Freedoom of Info Act. It took this long to get it, I'm guessing. Man, I'd really love to hear, or see a transcript of that conversation, but alas, it's not to be.

[Hidden Content] Appears that a bunch of emails were acquired through the freedom of information act. The Washington Free Beacon has more details. [Hidden Content]

And how many did that and got away with it? Our election system has become a joke. No wonder the Democratic Party fights voter ID laws.

Yes, if your looking for humor, Obama saying he's going to pay down the Debt, is about as funny as it gets.

The rich have always had privilege. Always will. There are many rich/famous blacks who have privilege. As I've posted before, rich is not a race.

FBI Conducts Pre-Dawn Raid on Paul Manafort's House
Hagar replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
Good call nt. Yep, Ken Starr. Now let's see if Ken Starr was a fair man. Found this where Starr said, "Bill Clinton is the most gifted politician of the Baby Boomer era". A fact that I agree on btw. [Hidden Content] Now has he ever bad mouthed Repubs? After a short search, I found this, were Starr verbally b-slaps Trump (had to look up excoriates lol). [Hidden Content] Main thing that concerns me about Mueller, I get the impression he and Comey were close. Mueller was FBI Director for 12 years, then Comey took his place. If he and Comey were close, it could skew his ability to be impartial. If he's on a fishing trip with this Manafort raid, he'll find something on Manafort. Why do I say that? Because virtually all of us, unintentionally break the law often. Had a game show in early 60's with different challenges. One, this guy could win a nice bundle of money if he could go 1 week without breaking the law. Lived in city, so didn't drive, and gams show only had a man with him when he walked out of house. He didn't break the Fed Stamp on his pkg of cigarettes. I was getting on Freeway yesterday, and sped up to get on - looked down, I was doing 82. I'd bet everything I own he'll find something on Manafort. And he would if investigating REBgp or new tobie. These guys, Mueller & Starr, have a scary amount of power. I don't remember Starr doing any predawn raids on a witness who was complying. That's cause for concern. -
I love this. Have to apologize that I'm a tech caveman and can't just post the message. [Hidden Content]

I feel sorry for the kids. The transition into an adult is hard enough if you get a good education.

I'm just curious baddog. I'm getting call all these names since I voted on Trump - is stupid worse than deplorable? The horrible words that guy used about me has me in such a depressed state. I'll do penance. I'll eat another steak in support of liberals everywhere.

I'm a big backer of the Police, but this guy does sound a little trigger happy.

FBI Conducts Pre-Dawn Raid on Paul Manafort's House
Hagar replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
Rush has a very interesting and scary take on this raid. Remember, Manafort was cooperating, so why go all shock and awe on him? [Hidden Content] -
I just saw a quote of former Dem Senator Patrick Moynihan that I think is significant to this thread: Somehow liberals have been unable to acquire from life what conservatives have been endowed with since birth: namely a healthy skepticism of the powers of the Government agencies to do good. Old Patrick may have been a democrat, but he wasn't like the democratic politicians of today.

FBI Conducts Pre-Dawn Raid on Paul Manafort's House
Hagar replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
Yes, I got that. But why are Repubs the only ones who get Special Prosecutors? I must have been sick the day my Civics teacher taught us that democrats were exempt. So why none on any of the Dem shenanigans? -
[Hidden Content] From the article: The search warranty indicates investigators may have argued to a Fed judge they had reason to believe Manafort's could not be trusted to turn over all records in a response to a Grand Subpoena. I suppose, based on Hillary's 30,000 missing emails, and Imran Awan smashing all his democratic computer hard drives, you just can't trust people in politics. I don't have a problem with this, except, why is it only the Republicans? With all the "destroying of data, and unanswered major questions surrounding the emails, primary voter manipulation, AG Lynch meeting with Bill, ad nauseam, why haven't they done this with any Democrats? Maybe they have and I didn't hear or don't remember. Anyone?

I read that in the link I posted. Ashamed to say I had no idea how good he was with the guitar. Prior to his own fame, he was a "first call player" and contributed on sessions with F. Sinatra, D. Martin, Rick Nelson, Mamas & Papas. A few he played on, Viva Las Vegas, I'm a Believer. And Strangers in the Night. Here's a 2 min video of an older Glen doing a little picking at the end of singing Galveston.
-
Agree. Plus the articles about concussions, primarily in Pro Football, has some parents concerned. But ironically, I've read the head shots in soccer are even worse, but it's growing like a bad weed.
-
Spent many hours listening to his songs. RIP Glen. [Hidden Content] Never go to Galveston that I don't think of him. When my son was in the Marines, we drove out to Ca to see him, and yep, by the time I got (get) to Phoenix his song was running thru my mind. I haven't been to Wichita (lineman) yet, but if I do, you can bet I'll have Glen (gentle) on my mind.

That is terrible. Where is the MSM? Stupid me, electric cars are a dream of the Left. On a side note, just recently had 3 little cars pull out in front of me. I suspect they were electric because they moved so slow. If so, they need to put some pedals so the driver can pickup speed.
