I do know my father-in-law was in his late 80's and the VA found prostate cancer but wouldn't remove it. He died two years ago at 94. Hooked up to morphine. As far as I know, he was in good health at the time they found it.

The military should get credit for these victories, but one thing to remember, the president is Commander in Chief of our military. And, imo, for our military to be successful, our president needs to listen to his military advisors. They know war. They've studied it their whole lives. Will they still make the wrong call? Sure, but they're still our "experts". Who gets the credit aside, I'm glad ISIS is being destroyed. They should be wiped from the face of the earth. PS: Whoever wants to keep our troops in Afganistan for anything other than a particular mission, hasn't studied history.
