  1. I forgot to mention, I think most of these other countries have death panels also. We know America does, despite those on the left constantly denying it. And many of you may not be aware (I wasn't), that they already have death panels in the VA system. A relative of mine in his late 80's and in extremely good health (one of them workaholics, unlike me) found he had cancer in the early stages. They didn't bother trying to remove it - to old - we have younger folks to work on. Spent the last year of his life surviving on morphine and pain. An off-topic remark about him. He had the best teeth I've ever seen in a human. All his teeth, and so white and straight. I know everyone thought he had false teeth. I think he had one cavity filled his whole life. Wish we all had teeth like that.
  2. Hey BS, I can't for the life of me, remember them showing that degree BHO attained. Oh wait, seems I remember now, it was the press conference were he displayed his birth certificate wasn't it? Sorry big buddy, I'm a little senile. Help me out here.
  3. I can tell you from experience, in the US that set of steps would never pass OSHA requirements. Another Govt Dept that comes up with asinine regulations to justify their existence.
  4. The researchers have only gotten the Socialist liberal mind mapped, but I thought y'all would find this interesting.
  5. Based on most of your post, I have to ask, do you have either one of those?
  6. And Jordan Spieth (-11) has a 3 stroke lead over Matt Kuchar (-8) going into the last round. Brooks Koepka is 6 back. All three from the USA.
  7. That's a heckuva score anytime, anywhere, but especially in a Major. I use to have 62 somewhere around 12 or 13.
  8. I also liked the zig-zag pattern of the 70's, while watching from the Vidor side. Although I did follow the Indians to the Dome often. Why you wouldn't go back to that is beyond me. Personally, I've never seen a gray uniform I liked. Hope Vidor goes back to black & gold.
  9. Yes, congratulations to Roschon, and his big brother, who's as excited as Rochon is - and should be. I think UT & Rochon will be a great fit.
  10. Alright, call me crazy but imo, one of the biggest problems today is the loss of common sense. Humans have had it for thousands of years. Why is it becoming extinct? What has driven it out of the human psyche? Is it gluten free diets? To many salads? To much yoga? Not enough tobasco? One prime example, Govt paid healthcare. Sure, the best HC for everyone would be great. No one denies that. But regardless of education, anyone with a modicum of common sense can tell you we can't afford it. So please fellow posters, seriously, why are humans losing common sense at an alarming rate? This one thing drives me bonkers.
  11. Another profound statement.
  12. Keep seeing post about how good HC is in other countries with single payer Govt run HC. Those that think that need to read this. [Hidden Content] Profound quote from this article: To contain rising cost, government run healthcare systems invariably restrict healthcare supply. On that, you can go to the bank.
  13. That's a sad thing to say, but true.
  14. I'm telling y'all, there's something in the water out there that malfunctions the human brain. And whatever it is, it's spreading. You can't fix stupid. You can't stop it. It's spreading like the most contagious disease that's ever infected mankind. All things considered, I think I'd rather be a zombie.
  15. [Hidden Content] Texas needs to follow Alabama's lead and nip this in the bud.
  16. Is this another? Probably not, because even some MSM has started to mention how strange it is. But this guy was 34, and in 2011won a Purlitzer Prize for his editorials against the HC reform by Obama. Would love to know what he might have been currently working on. [Hidden Content]
  17. Absolutely. And if this was an option all over the country, just think of the savings that would snowball down the road. Thorobreds that don't win (losers) don't stand at stud. Many of these guys are losers, so improve the gene pool, and save on welfare, food stamps, and medical down the road. Just thinking outside the cell, err, I mean box.
  18. The jobs you're talking about are not low paying. This thread is about wage increases for lower paying jobs.
  19. Yes, I wondered to. The funny thing, you could watch a couple of minutes and get the idea, but I couldn't stop watching. Saw the whole thing.
  20. You're right, they do think that. The fact that most of them believe there's no bias in the Media, except Fox News, just shows how (un)erudite they truly are.
  21. You hear these hogs are a problem, but I had no idea how big some of these herds are.
  22. [Hidden Content] Constitutional? Good? Bad? What do y'all think?
  23. Great to see a home town product at Lamar. With all the exceptional basketball talent in this area, I'd love to see more of them in Lamar red.
  24. Cartoon News Network in my best Bugs Bunny voice In most cases when someone gets caught with their hand in the cookie jar (sewer), they'll be contrite, and promise to go, and sin no more. But not these Loons. They double (triple?) down on their moral superiority and continue to lash out with unsubstantiated stories. I wonder why that is? I'd love to see a top notch Psychologist's analysis on why. Jmo, they think they're so superior to the average American morally and intellectually, that they'll be believed, no matter what. Plus, they're fueled by their hatred of Trumps's victory, and his calling them out. Essentially, they're in a rage, and evidently their leader, Zucker, is a part of it, or just inept at righting the ship, and their credibility is virtually non existent. If anyone has some further insight, I'd be glad to hear it, because I find their actions inexplicable. To me, this is a major league head scratcher.
