Interesting theory, but I don’t agree with him. Our God is a jealous God. The Bible alludes to other Gods quite a few times. Of course men can make up (the golden calf) Gods, or worship as Gods, things such as money. Still, it leaves open the possibilities there are other Gods, and like the Fallen Angels, could be evil. Fortunately belief in our God will protect our souls for eternity. We must remember Isaiah 44:6, “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God”. Imo, “there is no God” is for our beliefs, not that there may not be others, but to us, they’re irrelevant. 🙏🙏🙏 Btw, I’m no theological expert and my opinions above are just that. I could be wrong. Just want to say I have no interest in “arguing religion”. Again, Imo, not a good thing. Discuss yes - argue no.

Pretty obvious you & I are the only posters watching this phenomenal show. The things going on at SWR is enough to scare Chuck Norris. What they’ve drilled into (tried anyway) under the mesa is definitely not something that should be there. I’d like to see them get some big earth moving equipment and go after it. Only problem there, there’s no doubt in my mind that IT would disable all the equipment. And in the previews for next week - did that big rocket go through a portal/wormhole? Got me eagerly awaiting. And I’m not naive enough to think that little earth shaking incident is the last we’ll hear from IT. I see that as “a shot across the bow”.

Other than the 3 point loss to LBJ in SC game, Vidor played CH the closest in playoffs, only losing by 5. That’s after the Pirates were down to 3rd string RB. Just numbers, but still, I agree. Pirates should’ve definitely been in top 25. Still, something to be said about the element of surprise. Sure will miss that man/child at NG.

Flores (R) and her family to Congress, Pelosi found herself standing next to Flores daughter who appears to be about 10 years old. Nancy takes her elbow and shoves the child away. Was it because Flores is the first elected Congressperson born in Mexico? Does she think of them as “Hispanic Trash” and doesn’t want contact? Whatever the reason, it’s a picture of the real Pelosi. Just watched a segment of 60 Minutes about the “Havana Syndrome”. It first came to public attention when our folks at the Embassy in Havana became disoriented allegedly with a type of microwaveable weapon. My wife pointed out that similar problems have happened to several of the folks on the show Skinwalker Ranch. The effects the people mentioned on 60 Minutes is identical to what’s happening on the Ranch. Very interesting. The knee jerk reaction is to blame the Russians, but they’d have no reason to hit the Ranch. Next thought, could our own Govt be doing it to our people as test subjects, and now using it on the scientists at Skinwalker Ranch? Not many years ago I’d said no way. Now…………there’s little off the table in what our Govt may or may not do to it’s own citizens - Jmo!

As I remember, she implied the Justices went against the Constitution by banning abortions, so she knows little about the Constitution & Amendments. But the President & Pelosi made similar statements, so Norah’s in high company in her ignorance. Heard Pelosi comparing the Thursday Gun decision & Friday’s Abortion decision. An excellent teaching moment on The Constitution btw. Since few schools offer Civics classes, History teachers should use it so kids will know more about those documents than our President, SOH and O’Donnell. Jmo

Just watched CBS News. Norah O’Donnell spent 30 minutes encouraging the Liberal Loons to vote in November to get this decision overturned. No pretense of fair & balanced. No indication of being unbiased Media. It was gloves off. It was 30 minutes of listening to the Propaganda Arm of the Democratic Party. The Dems are definitely turning this decision into their Hail Mary for November. They have nothing else. Zero. Zip. I don’t see any turnaround of the economy, and expect it to continue to get worse. By November, all this initial angst over this decision will be replaced by inflation worries. Even Far Left Loons will be tired of the high prices. Hope so anyway.

SCOTUS was simply following the Constitution and Amendments, ergo the Law. Why Democrat politicians are so up in arms over this decision makes me wonder, are they cognizant of those documents? I just heard Maxine Waters saying, “defy the SCOTUS ruling”. She’s probably not aware of the Law. I’ll admit, I’ve learned a lot myself, but I’m not a Representative of the people or I’d spent time learning more about it. Just heard Pelosi complaining about yesterday’s gun decision which they said it’s per the Constitution, then turned around today & let States make decisions on abortion. Another was issued a “new” (replacement) helmet & it still had the burnt flesh of the previous owner stuck to the inside. Their first-aid kits are pathetic compared to the ones carried by the Ukrainians. No wonder the Russian soldiers seem to be less than enthusiastic about this war.

Appears we have a surplus of unwanted babies & adults crossing our border daily. By the thousands. Talk about crime? Those gang members from Mexico have no morale boundaries. Now we all know most aren’t gang members, but these groups are so big now, having a few in each batch adds up to big trouble for our law enforcement community and the general public.

Democrats love to have the Government control every aspect of their lives. It is their guiding factor. Their ruler. Their God. So here’s what their Gods are doing now. Oregon has decriminalized small amounts of any drugs - mj, Meth, heroin, etc, etc. The Federal God is fixing to ban Juual from selling their nicotine vapor. So part of Govt says heroin is okay and another is banning nicotine. So next? Legalize fentanyl and criminalize caffeine? Good point. From what I’ve just read, it could cost up to $20,000 for new batteries, so who buys a ten year old vehicle with that potential cost looming in the near future? Joe, and his Merry Band of Loons have not given any thought of the repercussions of jumping on the EV bandwagon. That’s scary.

This EV caught fire in a junk yard. It had been put in there 3 weeks before. It was first time the Northern California firefighters had an EV fire. As they doused it with waters it kept reigniting (imagine this on I-45 between Houston & Dallas on a Friday afternoon). To finally extinguish the blaze they dug a pit. Put in @ 4,500 gallons of water and submerged the batteries. They didn’t specifically say how long it took on this fire, but I’d bet several hours. The article said sometimes it takes 24 hours to extinguish one of these fires. And to further complicate things, you now have 4,500 gallons of contaminated water soaking into the ground, and ultimately the ground water we consume. Back to our I-45 scenario - are we going to dig a pit? Wait until enough water trucks show up to make 4,500 gallons available? How far is traffic backed up now? Again, these EV’s look great on the planning board, but they carry tons of baggage, mostly environmental. The irony is, they’re being pushed to save the environment. Analogous somewhat to the Left wanting Wind Turbines - which are killing birds by the hundreds. It’s time for these folks to stop going off half cocked & study what are the results of their actions. Hate the quitting, but I’m amazed at the potential number of transfers. Sell their homes and move? There’s a lot involved to transfer, if you do it legally via UIL rules. It can be a big financial expenditure. I know a kid who transferred to Ltown for his senior year. His parents had to get him an apartment in Ltown so he’d have an Ltown address to meet UIL requirements. Maybe some just bypass these guidelines?

At least the days of automatically penciling in Huffman as District Champs is over. Of course they could still win District, but it’ll be after the battles. Going to be a great season for this District.
