  1. Dumb and Dumber - I need a sociologist to explain that one to me. I’ve to many (younger) friends talk about how good it was, and I like a good comedy. One guy loaned me the DVD & I sit down ready for some belly laughs. I suffered through a little over half way before I cut it off. Never laughed. Has to be a generational thing since so many liked it. Made me feel old & out of touch. Why didn’t I find it funny? Last good funny movie I saw, We’re the Millers. That one got Hagar’s belly shaking, lol.
  2. I was blown away by Magnificent Seven remake. I’m watching, expecting a dud - surprise - surprise, it was a great one. Denzel Washington in another guy I expect to have great movies, and I’m rarely disappointed. Man on Fire had me cheering him over & over. Oh, the Death Wish series/movies. I’m all over them. Remake with Bruce Willis was good too.
  3. You’re implying eating up billions of gigabytes of information. There’s no end to them and they’re ongoing. The Dems & Media are complicit in creating 🐂💩 for consumption by the American public. I keep hoping that someday enough Americans will finally realize they’re being fed tofu and not steak, but essentially most people are too naive to grasp what’s going on. Old worn out phrase, but appropriate, like sheep to the slaughter.
  4. So some of you actually think Biden and the Democrats are good for America? Actually think they love/like America? Based on this article, they’re doing their best to disrupt/destroy one of the best fighting forces in the world, the United States Marine Corp. This could be interpreted as treason (by me for one). I’m torn between anger and sadness. All the proof I need (as if I needed more) to confirm what I’ve repeatedly said, they’re out to destroy America. Do any of you condone this? See any advantage? The Marine Corp is a prime symbol of testosterone. It doesn’t have anything to do with a vagina that thinks it’s a penis, or a man who thinks she may be a woman. It’s an example of muscle, endurance and bravery, not whether you need to stand or squat to take a leak. [Hidden Content] Be interested in yalls opinion.
  5. Good grief - what’s up with that? Shows how crazy everything is now. Good grief! Do that many people care? Good grief! Gas is right at $5 a gallon. Store shelves are empty, and they run ten minutes on that trial? Good grief! This is right out of The Twilight Zone. Good grief!
  6. That’s why I stuck “perhaps” in there. Like you, I don’t think it was well intended, but trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. And your, “no matter who gets hurt”, is spot on. They’ll readily sacrifice anything or any number of people to further their agenda. I can see the eye-rolls now at this, but imo, it’s true.
  7. If true, it should be released. In most cases the best way to stop a Conspiracy Theory is by exposing the facts. Leave unanswered questions and bam, here come the CT’s. That’s the deal here. Simple question and the answer should be readily available. No answer and soon you hear that he met Merrick Garland before the incident. Merrick gave him the money to buy the guns & ammo - and a handful of morons will believe it. Smdh
  8. Agreed. Sequels rarely come up to expectations. Then there’s the James Bond films. They were the exception, lol.
  9. And will not end the incessant “We’ve been wronged”. Yes they were wronged, as every single race has been at one time or another. Even a cursory examination would expose the Democrats for the majority of black Americans failures. They’ve helped destroy the black family (and the white family is not far behind). They’ve made most blacks reliant on the Govt teat, and this goes beyond finances. The “help”, perhaps initially well intentioned, has enslaved them, financially, socially and mentally.
  10. Not many actors that can make me want to see a show on name alone. And then, only maybe. Cruise is one. I like the action types. Gerard Butler in the “Falling” series. Jason Statham in “The Transporter” series. Liam Neeson in the “Taken” series (first one great then downhill). Old ones would include William Powell in “The Thin Man” series, and John Wayne in anything.
  11. And that is the point of my question. Was someone complicit in this horrible story. If they furnished money for the weapons and ammo, it’s also quite possible they encouraged the action for some nefarious reason. But how many facts have been released? Is it true that there’s still a lot of information unknown in the Las Vegas shooting? I’ve heard that but have no idea, and researching it now would probably bring up more false stories than facts. The internet is a wonderful tool, but folks ruin it with incessant 🐂💩.
  12. Watching The Stand (for the umptenth time) and heard again the quote from Yeats, “Things fall apart when the center cannot hold”. I liked the quote when I first heard it, before I knew it was from Yeats. Hearing it now it takes on a hold new significance. Add another line from the show/poem (The Second Coming), “And what rough beast, it’s hour come round at last, slouches toward Bethlehem to be born”. I’m not sharp enough to fully understand what Yeats was getting at but what little I do understand scares me. The main reason, imo, our center is no longer holding. Biden and his Merry Band of half-wit Loons are destroying the center. Of course it started several decades ago, but this current administration have just about completed the coup de grace (grac). Still, I suspect there’s worse to come. Can’t picture the Anti-Christ appearing as a senile, blithering old man who can’t string together a coherent sentence. I do think he will appear during my grandchildrens lifetime. The stage is pretty well set. The pieces seem to be coming together, but heck, like all before me I’m probably wrong. Odds are I am so don’t sell the house & run to the hills. But there’s one preparation you can, and should do - prepare your soul for eternal life. People who think “the end of the world” is coming turn to religion. What we should all remember, “the end of the world” happens daily to millions of people. When someone dies, essentially that’s the “end of the world” for them. Hope each of you do this.
  13. Back when the Media did real journalism, they’d investigate every facet of a story. In those days, by now, they might know more about the shooter than Law Enforcement did. Where he got the money could be the most relevant piece of info in this whole story. It could’ve been supplied by some Left Wing nut case wanting to take the spotlight off of Biden being inept. It could’ve been supplied by some Right Wing nut case wanting to see someone killing hispanics. And yes, he could’ve actually save it himself. Yep, I think it’s potentially very relevant.
  14. I thought they’d find Sussmann guilty. He’s expendable. On the Star Trek series when they’d beam down to a planet, Kirt and/or Spock would have a crewman with them. We called them ECM’s (Expendable Crew Members). Hillary? Never. She makes Teflon look like superglue. She’s today’s untouchable.
  15. Did you happen to see the makeup of the Jury? First, the Jury was from DC. In 2020, Biden got 92.1% of the vote while Trump got 5.4%. Oh, and there were 3 Clinton donors on the Jury and 1 Juror’s daughter played on the same Sports Team as Sussmann’s daughter. Hardly what anyone would call an unbiased Jury. And if that’s not enough, the forewoman of the Jury, trying to explain how they could possibly come up with a not-guilty verdict when faced with the overwhelming evidence said, “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI”. Yes indeed, nothing to see here. Move along. [Hidden Content]
  16. To my knowledge, and correct me if I’m wrong, no one has accounted for where he got the money to buy these two rifles and all this ammo. That seems important to me. Why has no one came up with an answer? Only one reason I can think of, the Media protects Liberals/Democrats. Anyone know where he got the money?
  17. Thanks for the heads up. It looks like a good one, and hopefully concentrates on a good storyline and not wokeism! I’ve had about all the woke 💩 I can handle.
  18. If they had 6 on 6 rushing the ball, Vidor would be in contention. 😂😂😂🤣🤣👽🤣🤣😂😂😂
  19. Baytown Lee? Talk about ironies.
  20. Saw this and it’s appropriate here. It’s the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It’s the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It’s the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It’s the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag. Those are powerful words that tells volumes about those who have served and those now serving. God Bless our men and women in uniform.
  21. Imo, TDS started out as a joke but has turned into a real medical/mental phenomenon. Speaking of mental phenomenon, I’ve recently posted several times, a line from a Townhall editorial, “The question is: are they pretending, or are they really this stupid?”. While researching something today I saw a pertinent quote by Stalin (of all people) that immediately made me think of the Democrats, “Everybody has the right to be stupid but some people abuse the privilege”. Sorry to those of you on the Left, but if the shoe fits………
  22. Yes thanks to the many men and women who died while serving their country. Whether they were an Audie Murphy type Infantryman attacking the enemy or a Company Clerk who had a heart attack. Each of them were a necessary cog in the giant machine known as the American Military. So take a moment today to raise a toast and a prayer for these brave men and women, and thanks to God for giving them to us. Here’s a common toast to them by fellow soldiers. To absent companions!
  23. Here’s the most pertinent pro-gun argument I’ve ever seen. Hope you all take a few minutes to read it. Essentially it’s “why the gun is civilized”.
