  2. America lost a hero today. RIP General [Hidden Content]
  3. Good win for the Pirates.
  4. Sounds like a great game. OF played hard.
  5. Who is the most mentally ill, the man, or the people that allow him back into society? smdh
  6. Hannity putting the blame where it belongs. And I agree, it's coming.
  7. Durn, I consider myself a law and order advocate, but 8 years for voter fraud? Durn, most dope dealers don't get that much. I do hope they keep up the pursuit of those committing the voter fraud though.
  8. Lol, I had a heads up from your initial comment. About 30 seconds in, I understood why you said it. Kinda like watching englebert & TxHoops posting - out of my league
  9. Ain't it the truth baddog. He's the type guy you don't want to debate with. If I ever get to thinking how smart I am, I could watch that video and realize I'm not. While I might mentally or verbally stumble to find a right answer, it's like he has five right answers and he only hesitates to decide which one of the five to use.
  10. Okay, so here's a guy that was there, and he's explaining just how the Muslims in Iraq look upon Non-Muslim Americans. First hand knowledge, yet so many Americans don't believe him. And the same ones who don't believe him will believe someone who never leaves the safe confines of his office and tells us that global warming is melting all the ice in Antartica. Well doesn't that just make perfect sense. If The Bible had said, "The idiots shall inherit the earth", I'm guessing California would be the world capital.
  11. Good game against a very tough Silsbee squad.
  12. Wow, congrats to the Oilers. Big win.
  13. The second round Evadale (#22) )will probably face Alto (#21) or possibly Neches (#10). Those two play tonight. But as Chester86 said: We just been lucky. Nothing to see here - move along.
  14. In my opinion, the judicial branch has overstepped their bounds. The 9th Court of Appeals has 80% of their decisions overturned by the SCOTUS. That failure rate interpreting law should be reason enough to impeach all three of them, and exhibits how pathetic they are as judges. There is no doubt they are incompetent buffoons.
  15. Thanks for the response ST413. Sounds like the Coach is trying, but as I implied in my post, sometimes the situation can simply just get out of hand. To paraphrase an old TV show, Kids do the dardest things. SISD has handled it. Go Tigers.
  16. You're right Reagan. Just hearing the word patriot will draw a liberals wrath. I'll not be surprised if they don't start protesting for New England to change their mascot name. We know they already want the Wasinton Redskins to change theirs. And I hate the Redskins from the old days when they would beat, at that time, my Cowboys, but I admire the fact that they've never changed it.
  17. This forum is about the extent of my social media, but to keep with the content of this thread, a video gonna video. I have no problem with the fact that the video was posted, but the comments, as reported on here, are way out of line. Now my question is, when this player committed a similar incident at BC, was there any disciplinary action at that time? Most Coaches I've looked up to and respected, would've probably sit him on the bench for at least a game. If a Silsbee player gets a Tech for mouthing, do they get benched? I'm certainly not a basketball expert, but I played (Stone Age) sports, and the Coaches were a God as for as discipline goes. Sure, things are different, but most of the time, players actions are dictated by the Coach. By what he allows. By his discipline, or lack of. I know that the situation can sometimes supersede all else, but constant disciplinary reminders by the Coach is a deterrent to a kid going all stupid like this. Jmo. Glad the young man is a Soph and will have two years to redeem himself. And I'll be pulling for the Tigers to win State.
  18. Agree with virtually all of the above about Fox Sports SW, but I have to say, I'm sure glad they televised them. Enjoyed watching, especially WOS.
  19. And that answers the question in my mind when I last was on this thread and bullets had entered his post, and I was to embarrassed to ask, and to lazy to goggle lol.
  20. I'm not sure how far people and companies will go to suppress advances. For instance, IF someone did invent a vehicle that would get 100 mpg, I could see suppressing it for quiet a while. The economic impact would devastate the worlds economy. Oil industries stock would hit bottom, and many pension plans and 401k's would be wiped out. Medically, I go back to cholesterol. When I was first tested, the alarm number was 240. Here come all these great, expensive meds, now it's down to 180(?). Did it drop simply for health reasons, or simply so more folks would need cholesterol meds? And how/why does the Med Profession lump all under one rule? We're all different, physically and mentally. I'd think family history (genetics/DNA/whatever label) would be the most significant factor. Medicine directions - many will say, 12 and over, 2 pills a day. May make you drowsy. If a 12 year old weighing 80 lbs can take 2, why shouldn't I, a 250 lb man, need to take 3? Guess you can see why I was kicked out of Med school (joke), but I did pass a CPR class, and stayed in a Holiday Inn Express
  21. You're right on both counts. Both fine young men, and good athletes.
  22. Lol, yep, it's primarily strikes liberals.
