No, a One World Government doesn't fit my agenda at all, then or now. It's bad enough our own government trying to control us. The thought of the UN doing so, goes against everything America stands for. When I said, "buy into it", I was referring to believing it, although I should have pointed out its jmo, I certainly have no proof. Right or wrong, I'm convinced that's an agenda of the Democratic Party. I'm also convinced that several high ranking Republicans are involved in that same goal. Politicians, go figure.

I didn't see the replay, but the fact that there's been no rebuttal to this post, and the follow up post by MYHOUSE, leads me to believe the Refs blew the call. Would Vidor have scored? Would the Indians still have dominated in the second half? We'll never know. It's a shame such an important game was marred like this, but that's football/sports. Since she hasn't responded to your last question, I have to assume she is lying to the Govt. it's a liberal prerogative. Through the years, I've noticed when a Democratic politician is investigated, more often than not, they haven't been paying taxes. It does explain why they don't mind voting for a tax increase, since they don't pay them anyway.

The point on the recent revelation of a private conversation between two men is that when men get together in private, there's often ridiculous, off colored things said out of bravado, or in a joking phrase. Have you ever said something in the presence of another man that was "not for everyone else"? Even in a joking manner? If Trump had said something serious that would indicate he was unfit to be president, fine, make a big deal of it. But two men talking about women in private? Give me a break.

I respect your agreement with Ventura, but I can't. I do agree that no law will make a citizen a patriot. But patriotism should be taught, not in the relatively few homes of patriots, but in school, for those not fortunate to have patriotic parents. We're not born patriots. Many, many years ago, when I was in elementary, we learned patriotic songs, like, "When Those Cassions go Rolling Along" and "The Marine Corp Hymn". Didn't make us all patriots, but it helped make most of us very patriotic. As Ventura said, Patriotism is the result of knowledge and belief. Where, pray tell, will many young people gain that "knowledge and belief", if not in our schools? Unfortunately, to many schools today are teaching the opposite. Doesn't bode well for the country's future, for who will answer the call to arms if we get in a major war? Only the relatively few who still are patriots, and in a major war, say China for instance, that won't be enough.
