That was one great post/story. Predictably, you'll never see it on national news.

Obviously, you're missing the point. What they are saying is, even if you know they are Muslim, don't identify them as such. Surely you don't agree with that.

Simple enough on mine. Picked wrong on HD all year 0-5. Sure home I got them right this week.

I think someone mentioned seeing a UFO, but I'm not sure what thread

I've posted many times, that "T" word, tradition, is a huge advantage for PNG, Ned, WOS, and Newton. For example, in most years, if Vidor (or most teams w/out the T) is down by 14 midway thru the 4th Qtr, their mindset is, We gave it a good shot. Teams with tradition in that situation are thinking, Let's see what we can do to win this game. And anyone who wouldn't want that advantage is goofy. I agree, Coach Faircloth doesn't run up the score if he can help it. I'm no football coach, but giving the second & third teams a chance to play, seems like what you'd want to do when possible. Looking forward to the game. I'll be following the posts. If I can get out of my recliner, I'll be going to watch Evadale. Going to Hull Daisetta to watch Evadale JV game tonight.

Valid, unanswerable question.

No, while I may be a tad senile, I do remember The Jet making the last TD. He came off the field with his helmet off, He was hotdogging when hotdogging wasn't cool. It was 1973 and score was 52-6 (had to look it up on History thread). And it's possible he ran behind the second string OL. I will agree that in those days, yes, the second string for PNG would have probably won Dist. I went to the Astrodome backing the Indians about that time, so probably saw you play. Had another TB who I thought made All State (in some selection). Think his name was Blake Green, but not sure. Y'all had a big tight end, who's name escapes me, but he recovered an offensive fumble in the end zone for a TD, in the game I attended. And in 1975, which I believe is the year y'all won state, you only beat Vidor 28-22. Probably your closest Dist game. You must remember, in my initial post, I was talking about a span of 22 years. Not just when you played. And that, my friend is a FACT.

These high ranking Democrats are totally above the law. The rich get charged, and get great attorneys to get off. The Dems don't even get charged. Justice is only for the middle class and the poor. We've come a long way - downhill.

There'll be no studies, but I'd be curious to know how well the Affordable Health Care Act is physically working compared to our prior system. Affordable? That's a misnomer if I ever heard one. For the patient and the Government. Freaking Money Pit.

Well, your post has some interesting history on your community. Personally, I enjoyed the lesson. I love history. And though I'm not cognizant of the football history between these two teams in the last 26 years, I saw many games prior to 1990. Was PNG good most of the time? Almost always. When Doug Ethridge was coaching them in the 70's, they were referred to as the University of PNG. I also remember many games when they never pulled their starters, even though leading by 50 points. PNG had a back named Jeff "the Jet" Bergeron, I think he made All State, but he could fly. I was watching the game and kept waiting for them to pull him. Don't remember the exact score, about 64-6, but Jeff scored that last TD. Point is, for many older folks, they remember those many time when the score was ran up on Vidor. Fair? You bet. Classless? You bet. Not blaming the community of PNG, just explaining why many don't respect your Honor, Pride and Tradition. It's not jealousy. Here endeth the lesson. Expect it to be a Great Game. Hope it's injury free. Go Pirates

For clarification WOS36, that poster, who is for sure a (likable) scoundrel, is not a fan of either of these fine football teams.

You must not get on here much 1209, if that's "the most ignorant rant/message you've ever read on this board" lol. To clarify, although it may be construed as a "rant", I don't see the "ignorant" part. The poster had a bad experience many years ago on the reservation and it still sticks in his craw. As does the animosity towards Indian fans. Much of the rest of the post is merely his opinion, which is what the Forum is for. If you go back and read the whole thread, through the eyes of a Pirate fan (which is probably impossible for an Indian, if in fact you are) you'll see many references (brags) to the number of beatings PNG has handed Vidor. And even though true, it's not that relevant to this game, as you should know based on Vidor beating Ned in Nederland (first time in 35 years). And I can assure you, for Pirate fans, it gets old. And for the record, I agree 100% with your last two sentences. Since both teams should be in the playoffs, come Saturday morning (hmm, sounds like an old song), I would hope most of the fans will be backing both teams as they prepare to confront the villains (joke) of 21-5A.

Great posts guys. I was grinning from the start. Little story I'll share. Yesterday we passed a home with a Trump sign, which my wife pointed out. I thought a second and told her, If I was going to put a nice sign out, it would say: Hillary no Anyone else, Yes! Just a small example of what I think of her.

What history will say of this is true And prior to it, most of us knew The poor Indian had no fear When he faced the buccaneer But the Pirate gave him his Waterloo Sad story, but it needed to be told

I know classical music. Listen to it in my HS days. Four Seasons, The Temptations, The Beach Boys, The Four Tops, no wait, that was classy, not classical. William Tells Overture when I watched The Mask Man on his horse. Go Pirates.

Thought of your post today when I saw this one AGAIN for the thousandth time. Yes it's annoying!!!

That's what we've started doing. The networks should extend the time for games on their schedule. Can't remember one ending on time.

Salsa king for me is Casa Ole. Theirs is the benchmark for me when trying new salsa - Let me see how close it is to Casa Ole. Close second would be Mi Pueblo (Silsbee & Ltown). I put so much salsa on, I can't taste the chips

Jmo, Coach Neumann was confident that all was good to go. I certainly don't know what all went on, but I don't believe he was trying "slip one over". That said, the buck stops with him. He'll take his licks, and come back. I doubt we'll ever find out the sequence of events that led up to this. Based on some of the above Rules/information, I wouldn't understand if they told me.
