Heck, I'm one of the "no knowledge internet warriors". I just don't identify, verbally attacking other posters or communities, as diversity. You're right we need diversity. What kind of Forum would it be if everyone on here thought Vidor was a cinch to beat PNG. B o r I n g. And whatever you think of Buddy, he wasn't boring. -
Lmbo, I like you 99. Your so full of Indian poop, it makes your post entertaining. That's good smack talk. Friday just around the corner.. Go Pirates

Imo, there's plenty of room for finger pointing. This is a football Forum. When folks start to badmouth, or make insinuations about others, or communities, they have gotten way out of line. And then there's the posters with their innuendo who want to claim their innocence. C'mon man. We have a good thing here. Lets don't let a few knuckleheads ruin it. -
Well, yeah. The Indians are ranked in the AP poll (as is PAM). And given the number of 5A teams in the State, that's impressive. So kudos to the Indians (and PAM), and go Pirates. Remember Pirates, you where the underdogs against Central and Nederland, so this ain't your first rodeo.
-
Based on the remaining games, Vidor and PAM are in. If PNG wins Friday, they'll be solid. If not, still inside track and a virtual cinch. Bubble: Either Central or Ned per their game, and Liv, thanks to their gift. Ltowns lost to Liv seems like a big obstacle for Ltown in a tie breaker. The deities of football have a sense of humor. Vidor leading Dist in week 7, and Livingston in 4th spot. Who would've thunk it?

[Hidden Content] Now why would they do a thing like that to such a well meaning group?

I've notice a trend with our Govt. I'm sure it's just coincidence. If a State wants to do something conservative, oh say, voter ID, or marriage between a man & a woman, the Govt (judges) says, no way. If a State wants to do something liberal, oh say, sanctuary cities, or legalize marijuana, no one in our Govt or judicial system has a problem with it. Sure it's coincidence. Then again, maybe I better think on this.

Go Newton. Y'all may be up in the woods aways, but in my mind, your still neighbors.
-
I'll be pulling for the Pirates. I graduated from there when dinosaurs were still roaming the earth . But G'kids are Evadale Rebels, so I follow them now. But if my life was on the line, I'd go with PAM. Since it'll be the first time PAM has played Vidor, I expect the Slot T to give them a little trouble at first. Just hope the Pirates can keep it closer than the rest of the District.

Hot dang dippidy, I tied MrUmp one time.

My post was directed at AAW. This thread is possessed

"Seriously dude" bhhaaaaaa. Since Vidor beat y'all so bad, with that Slot T, that makes me so wonder about your IQ. Or, as Realville pointed out, you just can't get over it. I can't blame you on that. Most Vidor fans can't stop thinking about it either. Btw, yes, one Bidistrict win in 5 decades, but Vidor hadn't run that offense for 5 decades. But that offense sent Crosby to the basketball court. Yes, seriously dude. Oh, and will again this year if y'all make the playoffs. If not, pull for the Spartans.
-
The same Offense got them 3 deep in 2011. Doubt many 5A's run the Slot T, and certainly not many as well as Vidor. Wish you where going to get to see it. First time I did, I was looking at the wrong back about 50% of the time (course I'm old & the eyes ain't so good lol). Playing a team that's never seen it, I could see why it would give them fits.
-
Good analysis, and imo, you hit the nail on the head. And, as always, if either team comes down with turnoveritis, that will be the deciding factor.

A little bit late, but BIG CONGRATS!!!!!! #500!!

Congratulations Silsbee Tigers. Like the old commercial said, You earned it. -
Nope, better look again. You said Vidor is 41-39 to week 6. But regardless, just the fact that Vidor is leading Dist, going into week 7, albeit a half game over PAM & PNG, is still virtually unheard of. We're seeing history AAW. Sit back and enjoy it with us.

And if I had a dollar for every Quote Error I've made, I'd be on my way to the Casino

I went back to 2011 & 2012 and Coach was listed as N/A. Think they were 4-8 both years. In 2013 (thru this year), Coach is Jeff Kasowski. I got to think this guy knows what he's doing. No idea what his salary/perks are, but some bigger schools may be looking at him. Naturally, having an A&M commit QB, especially in 2A, is some BIG advantage.
-
Gotta say it AAW, you're fudging on the 41-39 for Vidor, including this season. This season is the reason Vidor should be on the list. They are 36-39 without the 5 wins this year. And even as much Vidor football as I've watched/kept up with, for them to be leading District going into week7, you're talking ancient history. Not sure if the 78 team did. Only one I know for sure is the 64 team.
-
Good point. And I doubt many of the fans are aware of this site. Heck, a lot of folks around here don't know about it.

Anyone who runs into Bremond will find themselves playing basketball, I'm thinking.
-
Just curious Rob, had you ever heard of them before? I hadn't. Jim jam dilly, them kids are good.

Since there's an abysmal lack of Spartans on this Forum, I'll step in and say Porter by 14. I wouldn't want any Cougars to see this, but Porter impressed me beating Crosby.
