Well played Prep! I agree 100%.
-
Lol, I'd been disappointed if you hadn't brought that up.
-
I sure would like to see Vidor start like this next week, but might be a little tougher agin the Indians D.
-
Two TD passes by Vidor? The English language has no word to describe it. Unbelievable will have to do.
-
Sorry L-Train, I'm unfamiliar with the word "threw".

I knew it! Dadgum, I knew it! And you've already forgotten last years game? Good, misery loves company

Gunstream intercepted an option pitch and took it @95 yards for a TD. Aldine had the best middle linebacker I've ever seen in HS, Larry Twardowski. He went to UT and got his knee torn up, in practice I believe. But at the Dome, he stuffed our off right tackle offense. Btw, most of y'all say the current Vidor offense is one dimensional. In 78, the Pirate offense trick play was to run off tackle left lol.

Make that drink I ordered a double. Way past popcorn.

Oh, don't get me wrong Bigcam, Ned beating PAM would rank up there with the Porter/Crosby surprise. I just think Ned will play more inspired football than usual (which is always good). And yes, PAM should go thru Dist like a hot knife thru butter. I'll be surprised if they don't have a good playoff run. Speaking of which, can you imagine the thread if PAM was playing Crosby? That would be a game to see. My $5 bet would be on PAM.

Certainly a punch in the gut for Ned. Most teams would fold tonight. Imo, Ned won't. I expect them to man up and play their tails off. May not get them a win, but the size of the fight in the dog will come out tonight.

This might interest you steve, although I doubt you'll be surprised. [Hidden Content]

Purple People, no, but PNG and Newton both consistently field good football teams. Again, thanks.
-
Thank you.

Thanks for correcting me! And now his post is not as crazy as I thot lol. For him, like me, this is just a good BS posting. My senility is showing I apologize to purpleagle.

Oh, no doubt Vidor has taken many a buttocks whippin from Ned & PNG. That's not the point. The fact is, Vidor/Ned is not a rivalry (except in jest). Ned/PNG is. One of the best/biggest in this football crazy State. In games like that, the outcome can hinge on relatively insignificant things. That, plus the fact Ned has owned MCM for six years, makes me question the intelligence of the poster. As you said, maybe down a little, but not Nederland is Weak.
-
Nederland is weak? Did someone from PNG say Nederland is weak? Oh me. Wonder if Neumann knows that? It's very possible those very words may be said in the Ned locker room prior to MCM. That's all Ned needs. A little more incentive lol. Pretty bold words from a fan who's team has lost the last six games, in what is certainly one of the greatest rivalries in the State of Texas. Be interested to see if you proclaim, Nederland is Weak, on the MCM thread at the end of the season.

Stomp Vidor? Pray tell, what would happen if your Indians played WOS? Let's see. PNG offense would need a picture to see what the end zone looked like. Hmmm, the band would forget how to play Cherokee. The WOS second string would get more playing time than the starters. And, the concession stand would be passing out Prozac for the fans.

Manvel could probably stay within 7 points of the Pirates, but you'd need to look at Aledo for someone who MIGHT beat Vidor.

As the temporary peacekeeper on the Forum, you have learned well Luke. You have transistioned to the Dark Side

Never seen either one play, but going by the records this year, Vidor is a heckuva lot better. But, as Vidor mostly plays Ned tough, even tho they lose most of the time, Ltown seems to get up for Vidor. Combine that with Vidor being at their most vulnerable after the Ned victory, this game should be closer than most think. Being at the Boneyard should help Vidor, since them Raiders are spoiled with the new turf. Bummer.
-
Sorry GCM. Seen to many seasons like what you're going thru.

It's like after the Crosby/Porter game. Coug posters were scarce. Now Ned posters are laying low. Indians just filling in.

Wow. Nobody told Splendora they were suppose to get beat. Good game.
