  1. Lol, that's close. No, the Vidor spread would have one wide receiver.
  2. You can quit copying off me now. Copy MrUmp. Although, just by accident I ought to get a few more right one week.
  3. Great comeback, you twit
  4. Between lights going out, muddy grass fields during droughts, and PNG having 7 on the scoreboard before the game starts, I'm noticing a disturbing trend in some Jefferson County football programs
  5. Hope you didn't see what I posted on what would be said if Ned lost. You best get them sprinklers turned on Thursday lol.
  6. That's to bad. Really. I suspect that Slot T would give Crosby fits again. Talk about server overload.
  7. For Ned, football is such fun. And they win their games by a ton. But there's sadness this year, the Ned fans shed a tear. For they realized Vidor won.
  8. I'm the same no-look. I picked Splendora. It's a crazy year, and 21-5A has had its share already.
  9. You got a good point. Bet you could sell a bunch in Vidor before Friday night. Of course my hope is you could sell them Saturday morning. Watched a lot of these Vidor/Ned games (in misery). Regardless of what anyone thinks, Vidor is the underdog. Heck, if Ned was 0-4 and Vidor 4-0, for the Pirates to beat Ned would still take a good effort. For Vidor to win this game, it'll take a super effort by every Pirate on the field, every play. Errorless football, and maybe a break or two. I've seen a few games when Vidor had the best team, and still lost. Is there such a thing as a jinx? I don't know, but if there is, Vidor is jinxed against Nederland.
  10. It's been an upset year (Crosby/Porter). I'd give Hornets a better chance at home, but at Rebel Field, with the small stands packed, it's a long shot. Mine is Vidor over Ned. That's a long shot any time, any year. Go Rebels.
  11. NDN you have to remember, MBG is just on the board to keep the peace. He deserves respect for the fine job he does!
  12. And wouldn't you know, I heard its #1 on the Billboard Charts this week.
  13. Good call XX Man. Sure do hope you're right!
  14. Evadale is one of the Very Few teams I haven't jinxed with my picks. I'll ride these kids all the way. They can play ball.
  15. Shame on you outanup. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your underwear! You get an attagirl
  16. It'll be one of two things: 1- Dadum UTfanatic, you forgot to turn on the sprinklers. Or, 2 - Them %##£€# Refs (highly unlikely since half the crew will be Bulldog graduates). Sorry sportsfan, you were being serious. Prozac prescriptions will go up at Nederland pharmacies.
  17. Imo, this game is comparable to the Vidor Ned game. Going to be smash mouth football. Good news for Dayton, I picked NC. Hope for good game. No injuries.
  18. For you ill informed posters on Vidor's non existent passing game, I heard Coach Neumann on Ch 6 News at Six say that Vidor had 10 yards passing this year, and the Dogs would be working on their pass defense. He then grinned, which for him is like busting out, rolling on the floor laughing lol. Great coach. So, two good coaches. Two good football teams. Two great fan bases. Two undefeated District Teams. Two (to, too) close to call?
  19. No, but imo, it's more inspirational. Charles Smith did a great job with it.
  20. Vidor/Ned rivalry is a standing joke. Anyone in this area who knows a football has two points on it knows PNG/ Ned is the rivalry. Vidor's biggest rival is Allen, but they keep dodging the Pirates.
  21. Go Pirates!
  22. Just imagine your playing linebacker for Ned, and first defensive play Vidor, of all teams, comes out in the spread. Lol, it'd have to throw you for a loop. Durn sure would me. Not that it's going to happen, just speculating.
  23. I'll second that. Rebs by 12.
