I agree, it should be a good matchup. I think it'll be high scoring, but every time I say that, the games end up 10-7 lol.

Not sure how discipline equals racism. Football discipline begins and ends with the coach. I saw Alex Durley's teams play, and it wouldn't matter what color or race you were, you'd be disciplined. I don't know now, since I don't watch the bigger schools, but the Central teams I saw were disciplined. I do know I could name several small white schools that aren't. Maybe a few use the word racially, but most don't. I have to agree with Chester86, it's sad. It's sad to see anyone blame an entire group of people, for the actions of a few.

I feel you GCM. Watching Vidor for years, we saw every homecoming queen in the area get crowned. H-ll some would have homecoming for a scrimmage.

I think one of the girls on the 4x400m (1600m for those of us who get confused) relay was a UT girl. Maybe just a Tex girl. Anyway, they won the gold.

WOS exposed a big weakness in Vidor's pass defense. If the Hill's QB and receivers are good, could be a long night for the Pirates. There are a few unknowns. The weather could play a factor. Does BH know what a grass field looks like ? And are they comfortable in their totally revamped offense? IF Vidor does win, their opponents down the road shouldn't get complacent. They will improve. Don't know if they'll actually make the playoffs in a really tough Dist, but they shouldn't be overlooked. Jayhawk said that BH knows how to defend the slot-t. Didn't know anyone ran that in 21-5A. Anyway, I expect it to be a good game. I hope no injuries, and both teams use this game as a springboard to a good season.

If Nederland beats PAM and wins District, after this example of the power of the Titans, looks like Crosby won't make it to far in the playoffs.
