  1. This guy joins a long, and distinguished list of folks who have died associated with the Clintons. The second one in the last three weeks. He was spilling the beans on the DNC election fraud. I'm sorry to tell y'all this, but Houston, we have a problem. [Hidden Content]
  2. Will definitely be checking this thread. Thanks Silsbee92.
  3. Hope someone posts updates. Let the games (kinda games) begin.
  4. No one was accusing you of being a recipient of free stuff. The story is to educate folks about the advantages of capitalism vs socialism. To me, there's another lesson in that story. The initial statement sounds great, but the rest of the story tore it to threads. Many times I've heard a statement that makes sense, until someone else points out the flaws. It happens to most all of us.
  5. I agree 100%. About MJ. About the book (loved it because the Sheriff's comments & thoughts mirror my own). And the movie, which for a change, did it justice. About MJ, I've come to the conclusion that it "might" prevent some from going to harder drugs, if it was legalized. I just know we need to try something.
  6. Lmbo! That's funny stuff there.
  7. Never smoked, chewed, sniffed, or injected MJ, but I've never understood why the Govt classifies it more dangerous that what I consider, some considerably more dangerous drugs. And who doesn't find it strange that our Govt considers it that dangerous, but it can be legally acquired in our Capital? I've been anti MJ all my life, but I've also come to the conclusion that making it illegal, like alcohol during prohibition, is not working. In fact, our war on drugs is not working. Don't have any idea how to make it work. To paraphrase Sheriff Ed Bell in No Country for Old Men, If I was the devil and wanted to bring down humanity, drugs is the best way to do it.
  8. Lmbo! You just described me.
  9. One thing in this thread I find interesting. It appears that most of the negative remarks about this young man's decision, are not from Silsbee fans. Most of them, even though they'll miss him, wish him the best. To me, speaks volumes for the Silsbee supporters, and their respect for this young man.
  10. Been here about 5 years, but on the Southside, so only smell the mill when the north wind blows (not often - PTL), but I lived in Vidor my first 65 years, and could smell it there when the north wind blew also. I'll be honest, it doesn't smell like sautéed onions on a flat grill at the fair.
  11. Guess I don't keep up with Fox. Had no idea Rush was on Fox News new tobie. Please give me his time slot because I like a little Rush ever so often.
  12. Went to 10 yr old All Star game (I was a coach but not All Star). The "idiot" coaching pulled the only kid that had a hit. Next year I was one of the All Star coaches. In Austin for State, yep, we pulled the only kid that had a hit. Was a wake up call lol
  13. Our District does include Iola, who is consistently in the top ten of 2-A DII. So he'll see at least one really good team during District. Also might mention that our Jr QB, Torres, can throw the ball probably further than most 22-5A QB's. If he and Mackey get their timing down, it'll be a banner year for Evadale and Mackey. So like acm126 said, if you have an off night, come out and watch these kids play. Think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
  14. Lol, L-Train, anyplace else? If he went to Vidor at WR, he'd forget what a football look like
  15. Ironic isn't it. From, kill the pigs, to calling 911. I'm sorry, but heaven help me, I do love it so.
  16. Not only fine, they embrace it, like I would've embraced Annette Funicello when I was 15 years old.
  17. Now new tobie, big girl, pamfam, are any of y'all offended by this? I hope not. I hope you learn from it.
  18. The media needs a xanax. [Hidden Content]
  19. [Hidden Content] I thot this was bs but a newsperson has it on film.
  20. You ever wonder why Hillary thinks she's above the law? It's because she is. [Hidden Content]
  21. Must be so difficult having so much money. Decisions, decisions lol. Plus being able to afford 600k on a lake house. How much do senators make? Let me rephrase that. How do they make so much money?
  22. You're 100% right on the social media. It's hard to fathom that stuff you put out there at 16, 17, or 18, could come back to haunt you. Forever.
  23. FYI, there's a thread on this already.
