  1. And head lice have mutated. Maybe that's the origin of the term, Fuzzy a Headed Mutant. [Hidden Content]
  2. Can't understand why Ozen participation is so low. Even Evadale had 43 (I think that was the count). How many did PAM have?
  3. Lmbo, you're right. I would agree with Tradeup about one thing, if they played "throw your V's up", I'd vomit to
  4. Prayers for the young man, his family, and his teammates.
  5. Lol, he is a media dream. Seems like every headline hinges on, "What Trump said today". On the other hand, they can't dictate (anticipate) his behavior. I'm afraid his campaign folks can't either.
  6. Sometimes it makes a difference. I remember one time in Nederland....... Well, I need to save that story for another thread

  8. Was that the game PAM broke NS's undefeated district game streak? I was pleasantly surprised. Don't remember the weather, but I guess them city boys couldn't handle the mud
  9. Congrats on the new field Ltown! On the downside, sometimes a muddy field helps
  10. Your post reflects the same thing the editorialist did. If Trump nominates another Scalia, that judge would still stand by the Constitution and not Trumps ideology. If Hillary nominates another "progressive" (progressing where?), the Court will follow her lead, ergo, no restraints. Just another opinion, but one I adhere to.
  11. You're right. He's a rich businessman, who's brashness helped him in business, but won't work in politics. He needs to learn that, and learn it quickly. He has the tools to do it, he just pulls a hammer out of the toolbox when he should pull a wrench.
  12. Isn't it great when folks when opposing views can have intelligent interaction? Of course Hoops & Englebert are pole vaulting, while I'm trying to jump over a low hurdle lol. The trouble is, finding folks who can merely "discuss" politics (like religion), is a rare thing. And that's sad because we can learn a lot.
  13. Durn humidity was so bad my glasses kept fogging up. Had to take them off. Thank goodness my G'son was playing cornerback & wideout (JV) so I cud follow him easily. Good luck this year LCM.
  14. Oh, btw, one candidate for 3rd party brought up is Tom H. Can't remember the last name (Holfling?) - something like that. Very conservative I think. Him & write ins. Many folks plenty desperate.
  15. Ironically, I'm on another forum, and (as it appears by their post) most of them are voting third party. Ironic in the sense that we have very few third party supporters on this forum (again, per posts). I have to side with Englebert on this issue. As I've stated before, it's not just dislike, I'm scared of what she could possibly do as president. An editorial I posted a while back, exhibits the reasons I fear her. Readers Digest version:. If Trump is elected, Congress and the USSC will keep him in check. But if Hillary is, and fills the seat on The Court, our three point check and balance is gone. You may not agree Hoops, but if you look at it from the right, you can at least see our concern. I'd sure rather have Bill running than her. All that said, I'm convinced she's going to win, and Buddy, I sure hope I'm wrong.
  16. Appears Evadale has over 200 here. Not bad for a small 2A.
  17. Still think it's going to be an exciting Dist race. With mid county in turmoil, PAM coming in, and Central and Vidor with a lot of returning starters, yep, ought to be interesting. Won't be long now....
  18. Great piratetron! Happy for the Pirate fans. On consistently going to Nederland, that's not to bad a trip. Evadale has to play in Iola again (have to get my passport renewed), which is on the other side of I-45, north of Houston. Back to the Pirates. Hope you have a great year. This old Rebel still has some black & gold in his veins.
  19. Seems the UN has planned our takeover very well. Surely Hillary will stop them. On second thought, maybe not. Not sure about this site, but I don't discount the possibility this is true. [Hidden Content]
  20. Not just another nut job. He has an agenda.
  21. [Hidden Content] His son may have been pro United States, but he's not.

  23. Yes it does, but many blacks constantly forget how many whites died for their freedom. When I was a kid, we had segregation. Was it wrong? Yes. So doesn't that make what the blacks are doing wrong? How will we ever come together if blacks want to continually separate themselves? Personally, I think the Elitist could care less about the blacks killing each other. I also think they'd love to see a black vs white war - would kill a bunch of blacks and white trash. We are nothing but pawns to them.
  24. And LRF, if you can, please explain why so many actresses are into the, "bring more over"? Don't they realize that they'd be stoned to death under sharia law? Prior to the Orlando slaughter, in a gay pride parade, they had a big banner against Islamaphobic. Doubt you see much of that anymore. The Kumbaya crowd better wake up.
  25. I've been preaching how big an asset tradition is - Hugh! For example, say Nederland is up by 14 over Vidor at the start of the 4th Qtr. I bet Most of the Pirates are thinking, well we played a good game. Now, Vidor up by 14. What are the Ned players thinking - alright, let's get off our butts and win this game. As Silsbee92 pointed out, it's the mindset. I know many of you have seen me post this before, but it fits this thread. Local Teams like WO-S, Ned, Newton, they don't know how to lose. You may beat them on the scoreboard, but you don't mentally beat them. BTW, this should be a great game. Some outstanding athletes will be on that field.
