I saw it on the news, and the officer shouldn't have fired, although it may have been accidental. But it points out the BIG problem of the recent shooting of Police Officers. These Officers are human, with wives and children, and they carry guns. They want to go home to them when the shift is over. Now, many of them fear for their lives, and I'm afraid that shootings by Police may increase. Put yourself in their place. You'd have to be in a defensive mode (I know I would). My advice, to All of us, be as compliant and respectful as you can if confronted by a Policeman. Make him or her as comfortable as possible. If you're pulled over at night, first thing, turn on your dome light. I know 99% of police, never want to use their weapon, Ever. And 99.99% of us don't want to get shot, Ever.
TVC, if you have anymore advice on how we can help on our end, most of us would appreciate it.
