Great post nap! Looking back at my life, it dawned on me that with all the education we're given, there's virtually none involved with raising our children. And it's the most important job we have! You need to start correcting them when they're little. When they crawl to an electrical outlet and reach, gently slap their hand and tell them no. A few spankings as needed as they start walking. If you ever spank your kid, and don't regret having to do it, you probably should stop. Combine the punishment with plenty of love, and as baddog says, tell your children you love them frequently. My son & his family came over Sat. He's a 47 yr old, 6'2", 250 bear (7yrs in the Marines), and the first thing we do is bear hug each other. That's all the Father's Day gift I want.

I've never missed a presidential vote in 48 years, but If they hijack the nomination from Trump, I won't vote, or I'll have to write in someone. And I'm not a big Trump fan. If fact, his biggest positive, IMO, is the fact that the career politicians don't like him.

I don't think Republicans are as big a bunch of haters as you might believe. There are many quotes from liberals accusing R's of hatred in the media, and quite a few media editorials, but as a whole, there's no more R haters than D haters. And fake Christians? I'm sure there are some, and that's sad. But remember something a lot of people forget, Christian charities help millions of people in this country. And until health care got to be big business, the only Hospitals were Christian hospitals in most places. So don't let a few misguided individuals ruin your concept of Christianity.

Since on the Orlando Thread, not a single liberal showed any compassion for the victims (except big girl when I pointed it out to her), and no outrage at the shooter, no, I don't think most Democrats are big on compassion.

Great flick, especially if you like historically based movies. And I can't believe I forgot Death Wish, with Charles Bronson. There were five of them made. If you really like the first, you'll probably enjoy all of them. Editors note: Had first two Death Wish recorded when my G'son, who was 9 at the time came over and we watched them together. He inadvertently threw me under the bus when he told his mom what we were watching, and how good they were. My daughter came after me lol
