  1. Remember, it's an acquired taste lol. I'm 70 yrs old and still don't know what that means, and still won't drink scotch.
  2. Still, it was a fine looking car...
  3. [Hidden Content] Wonder if the national media will report this?
  4. Tried mixing scotch (which I hate) with pickle juice. Still couldn't drink it lol
  5. I do to bigdog. Despite what some may think, no matter where people live, few take pleasure in what happened in Beaumont. I certainly hope the new board puts the students first.
  6. It's a man thing I'd guess. A young man and his first fine vehicle. I washed and wax mine all the time. Drove a 94 Ranger for 21 years. Think I may have waxed it once, and washed it ever couple of months lol.
  7. That Camaro was a nice car. What size engine? I don't remember the options. I know in the mid 60's GM had the 327/250hp which was a great engine. The 327 also came with 300hp which would fly. Not sure they were still available in 69 - My son came alone and the only thing I cud think of about car engines then was economy.
  8. You can put me down as a character reference, but then you wouldn't get it
  9. I think BD3, that one thing most of us are concerned about is a pervert, who preys on young girls, who claims to be a transgender so he can access the girls bathroom. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem sharing a bathroom with a transgender. My main concern is my wife, daughter, and granddaughter.
  10. If you live in a country where you can be arrested for fishing without a license.....but not for entering that country illegally, it's safe to say that country is run by idiots. Someone had this on another site with a picture, but this is the best I can do. Don't know who the author was, just wanted to share the irony.
  11. How about this. If you think I'm gonna hit the lotto, you might be a redneck
  12. Lol, you got it. FYI, I buy a scratch off a couple of times a month, but it'll have to be a big lotto, cause then my wife makes me buy a couple of tickets. I can't hit nuttin on them numbers. I think it's rigged lol
  13. I certainly agree with your reasoning that he did it "To divide and distract". His whole two terms in office have been filled with scandal, after distraction, after scandal. Evidently it's a new scheme devised by the DNC. It avoids the ability to totally scrutinize a scandal, since you have to move on to the next. As for Dr. Caveness' response, he didn't sound like a drunken cowboy at all. Since he has 5 daughters, I thought he sounded first, like a pissed off father, and second, like a concerned, frustrated, administrator. Also, I doubt few transgender students want to be identified as such. Imo, to most it's a personal thing, like a boy with one testicle for example. Not all of the human race is perfect. Many of us have physical flaws, but most don't want to flaunt them. I'd like to see the Obama's being more concerned about the failure to educate inner city children, and the school conditions in these democratic strongholds, than what bathrooms get used by whom, and what kind of food they want kids to eat (which most kids won't). FYI:. Transgender's comprise 0.3% of the population.
  14. Wonder if Obama has suggested to Iran that they open their restrooms to all?
  15. [Hidden Content] Laugh? Cry? Mostly just smh.
  16. Yea you're right. That slant six was a good engine, and the neighbors needed waking up
  17. Well, when I started this, I was just concerned for Smitty. I know he posted some BS now and then, most of us do. But you have to admit he kept things going with his many topics. Just hope he's okay! We have a pretty good group posting here now. Even a few liberals. But regardless of your political opinion, I'd certainly hate to see something happen to any of you.
  18. If I hit a big lottery, I'd get all of us another one each! They'd look like they just come off the showroom floor.
  19. [Hidden Content] My vote could be bought this election, but it'd take a little more than $5 (but not much more lol).
  20. [Hidden Content]
  21. After what I just read about her on the Drudge Report (I thot it to racy to post on here), I think she was happy to let him go.
  22. This would be my first car. It was a red, 1964 Plymouth Fury, two door hardtop with a 383 ci engine and 4 barrel carb, 330 HP. Front end jacked up a little. Three years later I was married and traded it in on a 6cyl Dodge Dart. What a letdown... if I had a dollar for every time me and that Fury went up and down 11th street, I could buy another one
  23. A big ATTABOY to Dr. Caveness. Not only for his stance, but the eloquent SETX way he put it. To bad he's not running for president!
  24. Did they get on the umps? Don't know if we had same umps all three games, but I've never seen that many balks called in my whole life as was called in this series. Maybe they've changed the rules, but a balk was usually a rarity. Understand, it was against both teams, just seemed out of the ordinary. Regardless, this young Evadale team played some good ball, and I'm proud of them. They'll be a force next year!
  25. Thanks again C86 for another great job posting. Take care heading back to The Dale!
