  1. Are you saying that the majority of people in the states Trump won in the south are racist, ignorant, and stupid? BTW, ignorance and stupidity is not a sin, nor disqualification for being a Christian.
  2. Right LRF, the morals, and crime situation in our country have improved dramatically since we got rid of prayer in schools. Yep, proofs in the pudding.
  3. Have we crossed over into a parallel dimension? What kind of drugs are the people in the DOJ on? And are things like this why so many are on drugs? Does the work requirements for the DOJ include absolutely no common sense and maximum IQ of 60? All I have is questions because I'm in total disbelief. Yes 77, stop the insanity. Tell y'all one thing, they're driving me insane.
  4. You're right steve. I'm hoping for two miracles. First, that Trump wins. Second, that he exceeds my expectations. At this point, I doubt he wins, but I sure didn't think he'd win the nomination either. And the fact that a rich, arrogant, businessman from New York, swept most of the southern Bible Belt, where most think d@mn yankee is one word, is beyond belief (and says volumes).
  5. My G'daughter would argue with you lol, but if my G'son had a choice of going to a prom, or playing basketball, hoops would win every time.
  6. Thanks Bulldog81.  Surprised he won District, but no good 800 people in ours, but G'pa was proud.  Never runs, as in practicing track except during track season at school.  Gets his wind from basketball & football. Loves basketball.  Me, lucky to make a basket while trying to dunk on his lil basket hanging on his closet door lol

  7. I aced my SAT. Made a 100
  8. No shame here. Sneaky sneaky sneaky [Hidden Content]
  9. At last Texas has partially entered the fray.. [Hidden Content]
  10. I agree, except over half are Republicans and they still haven't done anything, or if they did, I missed the press release. You know, the last time I think there was any cooperation between R & D was when Bill was president and the R's had congress. Now they're like putting a cobra and a mongoose in a cage - fights on. It's frustrating.
  11. After 8 years of mistakes by Obama, and his justice department that won't charge Any of the many illegal activities that Govt employees have done, having a president that does nothing might be an improvement.
  12. Yes, just like our country is drowning in a sea of debt. But you know what? He's come back every time, and is rich again. Failure can be a great educator.
  13. I've been watching since it started, and I don't know anyone's name, except Strand and I'm not sure that's right.
  14. Very real possibility that Trump will do that very thing. I know many conservatives who aren't voting based on his Social positions. But as I stated in another thread, right now he's a "wild card". Hopefully all will have a clearer idea by Nov.
  15. And I wouldn't even bet on immigration. If he wins, what happens next is anybody's guess.
  16. IMO that was a serious deterrent for her as SOState. That, and she has no class (Dems, don't get your backs up, a lot of us don't). I think C. Rice did a much better job because she has class, but any women is hampered in world politics.
  17. Just my speculation, like we're all doing, but imo one of Obama's biggest problem was the people he surrounded himself with. And when he got advice from folks with experience, that advice was shot down by his insiders, who had no experience in the real world. Trump know business. I'd think if he knows something he doesn't want advice, but in areas he's not familiar with, I bet he got/gets the best advice available. If he does that, maybe he'll surprise the h-ll out of all of us. I hope so.
  18. My first thot was, why didn't they schedule the Prom at an earlier weekend. Anyway, good luck to GCM.
  19. My favorite track person, a freshman from Evadale who won the 800 at the 25-2A District Meet ran 5th in the area round. Went to Reg as an alternate in the sprint relay, but didn't participate. On the plus side, by the time he's a Jr. I'm pretty sure he'll be running in Regionals
  20. And if any of you have doubts about the other Hollyfield getting the Volleyball girls in good shape, just check with URmer. He's known her for quite a few years.
  21. Congratulations to Coach Hollyfield ! He does an excellent job here. He's also lucky that the Volleyball Coach (who is also a Hollyfield), has the girls in better shape than some track teams. So when Bball starts, that's all he has to work on
  22. I suppose, since you quoted me, your question was to me. If you read my post on this thread, I never made any negative post on gay marriage, openly gay kids in schools, or etc. Are you making those assumptions? Why am I against LGBT being given "special rights"? TG comprise .3% of the population. Of that number, the majority of the TG's will use the appropriate bathroom, that matches their attire. That leaves a handful who, even though they're dressed as a man, can go into the ladies restroom. If they can, what will stop a male pervert from going into the ladies restroom in his slacks & polo shirt? Would you want that pervert in the restroom alone with your wife or daughter? Essentially, you're putting all females in a potentially dangerous situation for a relative handful of people. If that sounds logical to you, we're at an impasse.
  23. Puts more meaning into the old song, "Turn out the lights the Party's over.".
  24. Lol, hadn't thot of it like that, but Amen. No telling what history will say 50 years from now about sports. In the XX Century, the best were: Pitcher - Willie Mays, Catcher - Pee Wee Reese, 1st - Ted Williams, etc etc
  25. Seems to be improving, but it's going slow. I know it has a lot of potential. Just wish the writers would make it happen.
