  1. Surely it was those fiscal irresponsible Republicans that ran the Detroit schools (in 1892?).
  2. Lol, I'd take Bill over Hillary myself. Matter of fact, told some friends recently that the labels liberal & conservative are changing so much Bill Clinton would probably be labeled a conservative now.
  3. I know sn. I've learned to tolerate a lot of things in my life, but I will never accept the Muslim religion, as anything but a danger to those I love. Nor will I ever understand anyone who is not Muslim, accepting them with open arms. Before I get another label, let me say I've worked with several Muslims. One was a really nice fellow, and imo, he'd be labeled as a good one. Another I didn't know as well, but respected his exceptional performance at work. It's just this repeated calls for our deaths we're inundated with, and the senseless slaughter of Americans, has gotten my back against the wall.
  4. I'm [Hidden Content] IMO, This is confirmation that ESPN has more on their minds than sports
  5. Ok, I'll be the first to admit it picked up last night. Also, got some interesting background on Strand. Could have done without him kissing his lover, but attribute that to me being old.
  6. I think you referring to critizing all Muslims for the acts of Muslim Terrorist. If that's the case, I'm one of them, and I have my reasons. Based on information since 9/11/2001, I can only assume that most Muslims believe their Quran wishes all non-believers (Christians especially) dead. The fact that you rarely hear any outrage from any Muslims over the atrocities committed, only reinforces my belief. Add to that the impossibility of telling which might be the few good Muslims from all the bad, I simply lump them all as bad. If Muslims merely thot of me as a sinner, or a bad person, or that I was going to hell, that would not be a problem to me. Problem is, they want me and my whole family dead, and most people on this Forum. That's over the line, so pardon me if I go a little over the line.
  7. Don't know what you're referring to, but I do know that you've always been helpful to me, and I appreciate all the work you do on this Forum! And we've all posted something occasionally that we might regret.
  8. Lol, you really dislike Cruz. No problem, I really dislike Hillary. Diff is, odds are Cruz won't be nominated, and Hillary will. Will be Trump vs Hillary, which like I said on another thread would be like picking the best Team in the NFL, and your only two choices are the Cowboys & the Texans.
  9. Lmbo, I know what you mean. I saw something about Bill Clinton the other day and thot, he was pretty durn good compared to Bernie & Hillary (and even a couple of Republicans). Times are changing - fast.
  10. Surely would get bipartisan support, which begs the question, if it's as successful as the article appears to make it, why aren't all the other states rushing to implement it? Just another political head scratcher - at the rate I'm going, I'm gonna end up bald
  11. Yes, it's a moving ahead at turtle speed. Have high hopes for Mexico, if they make it that far.
  12. Good Luch to all four 22-5A Teams
  13. Doesn't look like either one is any bargain.
  14. I cannot imagine our Govt being able to help any business, unless you count green energy which they pour billions of dollars into - which creates several millionaires, and then goes broke.
  15. My hats off to you. And I'm betting your children will be successful adults. I've always thot it strange nr, we get so much schooling/training for life, but our most important job, raising our children, all we have is our memories on how we were raised.
  16. [Hidden Content] I still think that the turnout in November will be the lowest in a long time.
  17. LMBO, it was a miracle PM19. There was another stat they should have researched. The reduction of Help Wanted Ads in the newspaper.
  18. Lying Ted. That nickname was handed to Cruz by Trump. I'm glad to see nr that you've become a Trump fan. If Ted does get the nomination, just wait and see what nicknames he'll hang on Hillary lol.
  19. Lol, sn, you had me at the title.
  20. Truce on how intolerant conservatives & liberals are! I want to ask a serious question that I don't understand. I'm 70 years old and have come in contact with thousands of people in my life. Transgenders make up .3% of the population. As you stated, they were given special rights. Those include using whatever restroom they want. Why? Assume I've used the same restroom with one. No problem for me since the TG was dressed and appeared to be a man/boy. If the TG identified as a female, he dressed and appeared to be a female and used the ladies room. Again, no problem or outcry from the ladies, that I'm aware of. Essentially, restroom usage has been determined by dress and appearance. If that historically successful criteria is absolved, I can only see serious negative results. And the gain is, what? That a group that is .3% of the population can use Any Restoom they want. What makes it more ludicrous, is of that .3%, I'd bet the large majority would never go in the Ladies restroom dressed as a man. So we're going to put all females at risk for, not all TG's, but just a handful. It's not logical.
  21. To bad they didn't come down here.
  22. I'm well aware that there is a difference between LGBT's and pedofiles. I'm also aware that many things are happening now that would have been considered ludicrous 20 years ago. At some point liberals, no matter how uncomfortable it may make them feel, are going to have to realize that the Fed Govt they think so highly of, can do anything it wants to. Today's child molester is tomorrow's victim of mental illness, who needs to be treated with tolerance and understanding.
  23. I think most Republicans are very unhappy with the party. I know I am. Just to us, the Democrats look worse. I'm sure a lot of Democrats are not happy with their party, but dislike the Repubs even more. I'll go even further, I don't know a single Republican that's happy with the Party. You should know not many do, since Trump, a rich New York businessman, swept most of the southern states, where they still think "dam yankee" is one word, simply because he's not a politician.
