  1. Yes, instead of that long, drawn out scenario, maybe the Calvary will come to their rescue. Swinging their light sabers and screaming down with the Dark Side. Works for me

    RNC

I agreed 100 per cent!! IMO, they have become the handful that control our politicians, and thus, our country. I hope I'm wrong PF10. Really do, but that's what the evidence leads me to believe (keep in mind that I watch NCIS, and use to watch Matlock, so I'm an expert on evidence lol).
  3. Well NDN you got your wish, but who'd thot they had a whole army. My wife & I agree it's Dwight, but they love to surprise us. Just wonder how All those people out there making noise don't attract a herd of walkers.

You must have not had the few beers I suggested lol.
  5. And many sequels to come.

    RNC

Ok, back to the RNC (and DNC) and I've been wanting to say this for a while. And since most of you eagerly wait for my senile guidance (), here's my one cent worth. A side note, it may make more sense if you've had a few beers. First, the DNC controls virtually every Dem politician. Think about that a sec. Two people, one from Oregon and other from Texas, each vote on winning Dem Reps. They both feel that they have representation, when in reality, All votes cast for All Dem candidates are votes for the (all powerful) DNC. Now the RNC has watched this for quite a few years (25-30? Longer?). The RNC wanted the same power, and has just about achieved it. One tactic they've used is moving to the left to pick up disgruntled Dems. Trump spent many years as a Dem - he's out of their control. Cruz was not their pick even for the Senate - he's out. To summarize what I'm trying to say: In the Nov elections, All of us, Repub & Dems, are no longer voting on John D or Mary R like we should be, but on the RNC & DNC. If I'm right, and I think I am, then we're in a "taxation without representation" scenario. Revolution? Lol, if the Russian army landed on California's shore, I doubt the populace there would put up much of a fight. If they come across the Sabine, that'd be a different story. Point is, as a nation, we'll never make a sacrifice equal to the courage of the people who won our independence from England. No way. H-ll, Texas is one of the few holdouts left of the American spirit and way of life, and I doubt we'd sacrifice enough to secede from the Union. I'd like to think so if most Texans knew I was right, but folks are so busy just making it from payday to payday, they wouldn't realize it. And IF I am right, there's no media that would reveal it.
  7. For those of you that didn't watch it, be glad. It was very depressing. Only bright spot was a few old Dims who talked about how bad Obama screwed up in the Middle East. Several retired Generals (soon to be audited I'm sure) addressed how he had demoralized the military. To give you an idea, Obama plans on our Army being at its lowest level since WWII. And with the world going to Hades in a hand basket.

  9. Great game. Great rivalry. Congrats Rebs and another good pitching performance by Daniel Bean.
  10. No, I'm old but not that old. Since the cataclysmic events predicted by many on the left haven't happened as they predicted, it may be a few million years before NYC is underwater. Lastly, my original post stated that most had their minds made up, so little is accomplished by discussing it again. I'm sure I won't change your mind, and you durn sure won't change mine.
  11. Seems like that was late 1990's, so @ 50 years. Have no idea if that's enough to offset any glacier loss. If you read my post, I admit we may have global warming (or another ice age), I'm just not convinced men are responsible, in either event. So let me ask you a question. Since dinosaur fossils have been found in Montana, Colorado, and South Dakota, do you think the earth has went through periods of global warming before men ever walked on the surface of the planet?
  12. Bret Baier has this Special on tonight at 9 on Fox. I'd hope most of you might want to watch or record this.
  13. I would like to think Trump's ascension would be a wake call for DC, but I've about come to the conclusion that their arrogance knows no bounds. Trump getting elected might be, but as of now, I don't see that happening.
  14. Some years back they found a WWII aircraft in the Arctic. I remember how fascinated I was when they said it was under 18 feet of ice. Of course that was before Al invented the internet. The point is, it was growing then, at least UP. Now we maybe having global warming, or, as some news stories say, another ice age, but I'm just not convinced man is doing it since we know these things have happened before. Besides, as I posted the last time, most everyone has their mind made up, man or Mother Nature, and we're all to smart to change
  15. That is an unbelievable, scary, ridiculous number. And our friggin Govt is worried about how much salt we eat and how many cokes we drink? Yes by george, Pogo was right (We have met the enemy, and it is us).
  16. Prayers for all those in the accident and their families.
  17. I'm not a big Trump fan, but we1 is probably right, it would be interesting. You'd have no idea what he'd do about anything, unlike All the rest of the candidates. On the plus side, imo he'd have more people paying attention to politics (what's going in DC) than there's been in a long time. Interesting? I'd bet on it.
  18. I knew it was a cartoonist, but flunked speed reading. Missed "Dilbert", and agree he was genius. Read it again without speed reading. Enjoyed it even more. To get me grinning while reading about Trump was quite an accomplishment
  19. If Trump doesn't self destruct and actually wins the R nomination, I wouldn't be surprised if this election had the lowest turnout in a long long time. To many R will not vote for Trump, and I'm not sure all the Bernie backers will vote for Hillary. But alas, my political predictions are about as bad as my stock picks

  22. Just talked to my friend again from Ltown. He's an old Raider and he's convinced it was the parents. I know he's upset, as I'm sure a lot of Raiders are. Even though I'm not from Lumberton, I hate to see things like this happen anywhere.
  23. I have that by S&G on a 45. Wasn't sure I was going to like this at first, but he did a good job. Powerful, he made it that way.
  24. Interesting! Guy makes good points.
  25. Very enlightening. One thing seems clear. Big business is no longer on the side of Conservatives. Most are siding with the ultra liberal left. I may be wrong, but I see it as confirmation of how far left the electorate of our country have gone.
