Trump, although perhaps innocent in this case, has impressed me as a guy who will do anything to win. Example, you're playing chess & you have a sleight advantage. You go to restroom & come back, wow, the board looks different. Of course, in war that would be what you want. If you want to fight at all, fight to win. Only done that twice since WW-II, that I can remember.

Hoops, maybe you can explain something for me. You mentioned legalizing marijuana. Since it's against federal law, how do States legalize it with impunity? Don't get me wrong, I'm for states rights, and good for them. I just wonder why in this case. Oh, I guess illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities would be another example. Is it simply pick and choose? I'm baffled!

After thinking about it, I've come to the realization that this is probably a game changer. What concerns me is Trump is rich enough, and probably ambitious enough, "to buy Cruz an affair". If so, by the time the truth comes out, the election will be over. Like most, I've seen politicians I thot ought to run for president, but don't. I finally decided they had a skeleton in the closet they didn't won't found. So if my premise is correct, why would Cruz run with multiple affairs in his life? IMO something about this smells a lot worse than the Evadale paper mill!

Hey guys. My attempt at humor wasn't a condemnation (see, I learned a new word), of your post. I was actually very impressed. And if I learned nothing else, I know now that I don't want to get into verbal fisticuffs with any of you. As I posted before, IMO the frustration we all feel with politics in general, and specifically the Republican Party, has all of us like a wolverine with a leg caught in a trap, ready to snap at anything. Personally, I hate to see posters that I like, and admire, having differences like this. To me (in my feeble mind) it's a microcosm of the Republican Party itself. My legs in a trap to, so I can only pray we'll find a way out. Ok, I'll crawl down from my pulpit! If they think this will actually work, I suggest they really try a meaningful experiment. Why not move twenty families into Martha's Vineyard. Surely in such an environment they should prosper.

Interesting, but as I'm sure you're skeptical of Fox News, I'm also skeptical of the NY Times. And as President, his lies have more impact - "You can keep your own insurance", being just one Major example that encouraged citizens, and Congress to pass Obamacare. If I told you that in basketball Evadale boys beat Big Sandy, that's a pants on fire lie, but it wouldn't affect anything, except how you judge my lack of character. But the higher in Govt you are, the more damaging or dangerous these lies become.

Based on the political postings and people I've talked to, I'd sure be surprised if Any Republican can win. I doubt enough Trump supporters would back Cruz or Rubio, and many of their supporters won't vote for Trump. And neither group would likely back whoever the RNC picks. So, unless Something really out of the ordinary happens (as posted earlier) Hillary will win. Had a friend that shot his self in the foot with his rifle. The RNC has aimed it's rifle at its buttocks and pulled the trigger.

Does have a nice ring to it. So, we still going to bring thousands and thousands more into the country? Surely this incident will make them rethink that. Duh, what do you mean good luck with that?

Ditto on a Great Group! It's ironic that prior to my G'kids participating in basketball, I'd never cared for it. Throughly enjoyed watching this team.
