  1. He, and those behind moving the Democratic Party so far left, don't just play the game well, "they" are masters. I'll say it again, I'm totally against "them", but I have to grudgingly admit that what "they" have accomplished has to be recorded as the playbook for taking over a Democracy without firing a shot (as, I believe, Nitika K. predicted). And as the left got "lefter" (new word lol) the right started moving left to attract what little fallout from the left it could. Yep, "they" play the game exceptionally well.
  2. Just a wild guess but I think bamatex is releasing the same frustration that most Republicans have. While the Democrats lock step to whatever the party comes up with, the Repubs run the gauntlet of liberal Trump/Christie to conservatives Rubio/Cruz. And the fact that Obama won a second term was like putting Tabasco in our eyes. I know I'm frustrated! And the fact that Hillary is favored to win in Nov is like throwing gasoline on a fire. United we stand = Dems. Divided we fall = Repubs.
  3. I'm fascinated how the Liberal brain works. Not just nr, but all of them. The analogy that comes to mind is like a computer receives anything bad that Democrats do, it automatically goes into delete. Tell them again, delete. And if cornered, come up with a reason that would make a UFO theorists look like a genius. I've pondered this for many years. Here's a few possible theories: Fluoride in drinking water - alien abduction - men are from Mars, women are from Venus, liberals are from Uranus - watching to much Barney - 48% of all babies born are dropped on their heads. The possibilities are endless
  4. That Yale bunch were overachievers today. I bet that was missed on 95% at least.
  5. I know. For about 5 years I kept telling the older folks I work with the the young people getting hired act like the Co. owes them just for coming to work lol. Different mindset.
  6. If you're older than 30 and work, you'll love this.
  7. You know LRF, your post is a Readers Digest version of one more thing that puts ticks in my shorts. Repubs today are equal to the Dems in the 70's. Dems are so far left they're in the Crawford boxes (stands behind left field at Astros baseball field). Very few real conservatives left. And most Dem politicians are either Socialist are Communist. Labels, they are a changing.
  8. Classic- and if it happens, I'm sure Mr Buckman will make every attemp to come back and haunt them. RIP Mr B
  9. Just saw on Ch 6 that I-10 will be closed thru Tuesday at minimum. I realize Toledo Bend dam is not for flood control, but you'd think there would be some responsibility to control it. The bad storms had been predicted 4 to 5 days ahead of time. Why didn't they start releasing more water earlier so they wouldn't have had to open it up for so long and cause hundreds of millions of dollars of damage and human suffering? i think we all deserve an explanation. Also, a plan to address this type situation in the future.
  10. Ludicrous. Freaking ludicrous, the whole thing. And the whip cream on the malt, it's in CC and he lives in SA. And he thinks it's okay to get rid of it because it offends him. Can't tell y'all how much He offends me. Like to slap a f-rt out of him that'd make a freight train take to a dirt road!
  11. Ok we1, here's a reputable link I'm confident you'll approve of. [Hidden Content]
  12. Certainly something we can agree on. You may enjoy this quote as much as I do: The more you observe politics, the more you've got to admit that each party is worse than the other. Will Rogers
  13. What's the expression, "Fold like a house of cards"? [Hidden Content]
  14. Well guys, it confirms what I've been saying about how much things have changed in my lifetime. If this guy is labeled a Centrist, I'm out of touch with things.
  15. Well, here's something, and it's not good. Confirms my theory on Centrist. [Hidden Content]
  16. Not even close to what I expected. Based on the info, he's brilliant. Wiki labels him a Centrist, which to someone my age would make him a moderate liberal. I hope PNGtex post his opinion. As I've said before, my knowledge of Law is limited to watching Matlock. If Hillary is elected I suspect she'll nominate someone who'll make this guy look like a flaming conservative.
  17. Good question, and I wondered myself. After reading the article bd posted, it looks like the more support he got from The Establishment, the worse he did. If that's the reason, I guess I've underestimated how fed up Repub voters are.
  18. I'll admit I haven't watch any of her campaign speeches. Has she mentioned Medicare covering the cost of Prozac? I'm thinking Nov 8th is going to be a 2 six pack day, with a Jack Daniels appetizer.
  19. Now that Rubio has suspended, the race might get interesting.
  20. Amen! Typical example of what TVC said, "democrats only want to enforce the parts they like".
  21. Never doubt that I'm for Cruz. He's head and shoulders above the rest. My fear is if Cruz or Rubio don't get the nomination, many Republicans will not vote, making Hillary President by default. If Trump gets elected, I have no idea what type of Justice he will appoint to the SCOTUS, but there's no doubt what type Hillary will. No doubt. I will vote for the Republican nominee, whoever it may be (and Trump is way down on my list). I'm that concerned (worried/scared) about Hillary becoming President. One more thing I'll share with y'all to exemplify my point. I cast my first vote in 1968. Numerous times I've gone to the polls halfhearted to vote, not for, but against someone. In Nov, good Lord willing, if Cruz is not the nominee, I'll once again go down to vote against someone. Not halfhearted, but with all the enthusiasm I can muster. Be it Trump or whoever. IMO, it's that important.
  22. I'm Senile LRF - keep forgetting the most important thing about the next election, the SCOTUS. With an open seat already, and four Socialist already on the Court, to me, it's the main reason for defeating the hildabeast. If she wins our right to bear arms will be in jeopardy.
  23. I hope you're right bd, but all this, "I ain't gonna vote if he (Trump, Cruz, Rubio) gets the nomination". I don't get it. It's hard for me to imagine someone I wouldn't vote for over Hillary. [Hidden Content]
  24. I'd love to tell you how wrong you are, and show you all the reasons why, but since the Republicans are so busy fighting each other, I can't. Still enough time for a miracle or an indictment, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Biggest losers will be the working people, for they are the ones who pay the bills for big government.
  25. I'm confused. I thot if a person didn't have a gun they became a pacifist. Have I been led astray?
