Heard part of an interview with who I think was a Republican Congressman, and he was saying that the establishment was so concerned that Trump was going to win that they're almost ready to embrace Cruz. And the crowning statement came this morning, from a Fox News lady who described Cruz as "an ultra conservative". Never thought wanting to enforce the Constitution would get someone labeled an ultra conservative.

I've seen it and don't believe it lol. Crazy stuff in our political system going on.

Simple 77, but accurate. I just can't understand why more folks don't see it, or don't care. The DNC controls all the Democrats in Congress (as the RNC is trying to do with Rep). When a local Dem or Rep is elected to the House, he's suppose to vote in the interest of his constituents. But Dems must lockstep with the DNC. Now the RNC wishes the same control. Now it looks like the DNC is in lockstep with the communist party. I can't imagine how ridiculous this will look to historians 300 yrs from now lol.

I watched LaPoynor beat Evadale in Dbl OT. I was very impressed with their defense against us. Thought of them when reading your post on Canyon.

According to MaxPreps, Nazareth beat Chierno 52-29. A friend told me today that the Owls best shooter, who made 3's from the parking lot when they played Evadale, was 1 for a bunch. Just a bad day at a bad time. Good season Lady Owls.

I appreciate your candor of why you like Hillary. Don't agree, but that's to be expected, me being conservative. As to your question why would someone vote for Trump. While Trump is not my choice for the Rep nomination, I understand why he is for a lot of people. He's not part of the establishment, ignores the PC Police, and talks tough towards those who intend to kill Americans. And based on the votes he's getting, a lot of people like that.

Lol, ok I get that. Let me expand my statement. It wouldn't matter who her opponent is, she'd still get approx 50% of the votes. Trump, Truman, Lincoln. Many years ago we referred to locals that always, no matter what, voted Dem, as Yellow Dog Dems (would vote Dem if a yellow dog ran). Don't remember there being this many, and in those days there were some (relatively) conservative Dems & some liberal Rep. Not so many voted straight party like today.

URmer, I'm just curious about the number of FT attempts each team had (attempts only). Not trying to blame Ref's, we were beat by a very good team and our girls played their hearts out. Just seem like the Flyers got to the line more than we did. Maybe not - my BP was approx 300 over 299, so we may have had more attempts. And I'm so proud of those Seniors. Been watching them since Lil Dribblers. Watched 3 of them starting on JV as Fr (Savannah was on varsity) go 20-0 for first undefeated JV team in Evadale history. And unfortunately, for the other teams in our District, next year will see another great Lady Rebel team.

I know that several of you posting on this thread are infinitely smarter than me, so I'd sincerely appreciate one or more of you answering this question for me. How in the cornbread hell can so many people be prepared to vote on Hillary Clinton? She's been caught in numerous lies as Secretary of State, and has little regard for protecting secret information that could possibly jeopardize our national security. I won't even get into Whitewater, V. Foster, etc, etc. Please, someone explain this to me because I can't understand it. I'm not looking to argue, or try to ridicule your response, I just want a logical explanation. Thank you in advance.
