I'm well aware of Lipan thinks to your & I discussions after we played Chireno. Again, I have little knowledge of basketball so explain what's up with this. Looked at box score of Nav vs LaP. First Qtr 11-11, then second it was 0-1. I've never seen a Qtr with only 1 point scored. Was LaPoyner in a stall? Maybe both? Final was 30-28. Probably low score for both teams by a large margin.

Interesting. I looked up Super Pacs. I still don't quite understand. I thot they were independent of the candidates, now I'm not sure. I would hope most are on the up & up, for the candidate or the country, but I suspect it's fertile ground for all kind of bs. I understood about the Bush to Rubio money. At least that makes sense. I'm still firmly convinced that the RNC & DNC control most of our elected Govt Officials. Not what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

I know they were beat by Tenaha by 40+ points. And their girls were beat by Evadale by 40 points. Based on that info, I'd say Big Sandy wins by 40

I've done some comparisons between the two teams via Schedules/Results. I'm reminded of what my SIL says, it's about matchups. The victories by LaPoyner I mentioned in my initial post indicates Rebs are overmatched. Then I see they beat Slocum by 6, who only beat Joaquin by 11, who we just beat by 40+, and it looks like we can beat them. Admittedly, not a great comparison, but indicates Rebs have a good shot. I do think it'll take absolute best effort by Evadale to win. Looking forward to a great game between two state ranked teams.

Hope you're right Hoops. As much as I don't like Trump, I dislike Hillary (the DNC Socialist Agenda) even more. Sad thing is, to many times I've gone down to vote for president (never not voted) to cast my ballot against someone, not for someone. Regional Semifinals game between the LaPoyner Lady Flyers and the Evadale Lady Rebels. For those of you who may not be familiar with LaPoyner, they're a perennial powerhouse in Girls Basketball in 2A. They've defeated the #4 team in 2A, Martins Mill, and the #2 team in 1A, Lipan. Your thoughts.

I don't remember. May be weak compared to BS, but we played good tonight. Like I said on another thread, ought to learn something playing BS twice lol

Congrats on the win to the Lady Flyers. Wish I knew enough about basketball to tell you our strength. Only one I can tell you is our bench/depth. Hopefully a good game with no injuries. Will start a thread on the game.

As I've repeatedly said, I'm no authority on basketball. One thing that disturbs me is how officiating differs so much. (Note: I'm not talking bias, good or bad, just appears the way they see contact.) The officials the girls had in the area game at Lufkin called close to 50 fouls. If this game is like that, West Sabine may have trouble. I guess as a coach/player, you have to adjust to the calls. Our girls have a deep bench so we had no FOs, but Martinsville had 2 or 3.

What was a big eye opener for me was when I heard the majority of the "establishment" money Bush had behind him went to Rubio. If true, that bothers the heck out of me. In both parties, those people are the puppet masters.
