  1. Just looked on Map Quest and Lufkin is 30 miles from Canadian border
  2. EC Good team for warm up. Just hate to see a beat down
  3. I'm certainly puzzled by lack of response by the left. We're brainstorming here (me with what little brain I have left lol) and I have a couple of more ideas, but only things y'all already know. But while pondering this, another question came to mind. There's a book, Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. So, what planet, Galaxy, are ultra liberals from? Joking aside, after being married close to 50 years, I can truthfully say that I understand women more than I do ultra liberals.
  4. Good point bd. You'd think this would be in their bailiwick. My only guess is that the left has ceased to have personal opinions and simply know right from wrong based on what Obama, the DNC, liberal leaders, or ultra liberal organizations tell them. O's Govt says it should be done, ergo it's ok. Seriously, I'm beginning to think they are so afraid that any spontaneity of thought might accidentally not be PC, and thus raise the ire of their peers, they've just stopped. In summary, they're afraid. Just like Germans who didn't agree with Hitler, and Russians who didn't agree with Stalin. And, if I'm right, the saddest part of it all, they don't even realize it. Just a thought.
  5. Based on your post, I sure hope several drop out. I don't like Trump. I do understand why voters are attracted to him. His disregard of PC is something most of us find very appealing, along with his tough talk on several hot topic items. I just can't see him as the whole package. I'll fall back on my use of analogies. He's like a big home that looks great on the outside, but when you open the door, nothing's done on the inside except toilets are installed but don't flush, and they're all full of poop. And saddest of all, if he does get the nomination, in Nov I'll drag myself down to the polls and vote on him.
  6. Yes. Like the lady professor while demonstrating on public property hollered for "some muscle to get this guy out of here" because he was a reporter with a camera. Blame the victim. Straight out of the Socialist playbook. That includes, shift the blame, obfuscate, lie, misinformation, etc etc etc
  7. [Hidden Content] It's the dying truth.
  8. I wonder if the Liberal Media will even acknowledge this. Lets reverse the situation somewhat. For instance, a white Republican President is going to skip the funeral of Assoc Justice Ginsburgh to meet with a white supremacist group who just disrupted and destroyed several blocks of Baltimore under the guise of "white lives matter". What would be the reaction of the Liberal Media?
  9. Congrats to Lady Jags. You shoulder the responsibility of representing the whole Dist. Show your opponents how good you are.
  10. Congrats to all our local teams. And a special congrats to the Lady Rebels, Ladycats, and Lady Bulldogs all of 24-2A
  11. I certainly don't believe in all conspiracy theories, but take it from an old man, don't ignore them out of hand. Scalia's death is a prime example. An autopsy would be prudent, regardless of his health. If all bases are covered immediately, you've put out any conspiracy credibility fire. If you take forever to explain an event, such as the assassination of Kennedy, it's obviously not open and shut, so it becomes open to theories. Or if a series of events continue to happen, again and again, it's open to theories. An example would be the 46 deaths of people close to the Clinton's in the last 3 decades. Another example is if the Govt tries to obfuscate an event. An example would be the Roswell Incident. Before you start laughing, let me ask, do you believe everything our Govt says? I hope not. I know of 3 different explanations the Govt has given for Roswell. First it was announced it was a UFO. Then they claimed it was a weather balloon. I think the last it was a secret weather ballon. Now the GAO can't even find any records of the event. That's like waving a red flag at a conspiracy bull. So whether you think a conspiracy theory is ridiculous or not, take a look at what facts are available, and then decide. I think a few of them may have some validity.
  12. Quite a coup for Rubio. I'd like to ask all the readers of this a question that concerns me. With Rubio & Cruz dividing the conservative vote, will that make Trump the nominee? Isn't a d-mn thing I can do about it. Just don't like that senario.
  13. I don't use social media, unless this Forum fits the description. Just not useful for me. Like a gun it can be put to good use or bad. Not knowing, I'd guess that folks could use false names, and like the young man that you mentioned in an earlier post, passed himself off as a Rubio supporter (as I remember) with a "graphic". The fact that All the media want to out scoop each other (even Rush got caught on this one), makes social media fertile ground for misinformation. Personally, it urinates me off for worms to distort a useful tool. Sadly, I know folks who believe everything on the Internet despite all the warnings. I suspect it's the same with social media. We'll just have to muddle through it.
  14. How soon we forget. With our Wal Marts and grocery stores, we can't comprehend things like this. I still remember in Russia, while they were sending satellites into space, the reports of Russians lining up outside stores to get toilet paper on delivery day. I'm a step ahead of most of you if Bernie wins, I've used an outhouse. Take advice from an old man, start saving your thick Sunday newspaper
  15. Saw it on the news yesterday. Changed to another channel and ironically, they were showing a National Dog Show. Kept hoping to see her come out on a leash lol
  16. Fantastic! That's three out of 24-2A moving on. I sure hope we all win the next round!
  17. Lmbo gh23. IMO a classic post. I suppose y'all have thot of this, but it's possible O's backing Hillary in the hopes he'll get nominated to the SC if she wins. Which, now that I think about it, would fit several of gh23 descriptions
  18. Let's get this out front. My wife and I watch a lot of cop shows. Ive read a few mystery books. I bought a badge online. So now that you're aware of my bonafides, here's my opinion of this Facebook incident. If you're under suspicion of something, and therefore scrutiny, you lay low. You don't repeat what you're accused of. But, if you're trying to set someone up, and you see the chance, make it so. IF someone backing Cruz did it in Iowa, I doubt they would repeat it. That would be as stupid as a glass eyed dog. My First suspect is actually Trump. His ego is so big, as is his wealth, it would be easy for him to pay someone to do it. As it would be for the DNC, my second suspect, who may want Trump to win the Repub nomination so they might win in Nov. Last suspect is Mr. Left Wing Liberal computer geek who just wants to stir the pot. I'm pretty durn good but I wish I had Gibbs & his NCIS Team to help me solve this.
  19. Congrats Ladies from Evadale!! Glad to see another 24-2A team advance!
  20. That seems like a lot. Hope my friend didn't fat finger a 5 for a 4. If anyone can verify, please do.
