Sadly, as Colmesneil1 has pointed out, the GOP has turned its back on Conservatives. To many of the leaders, for whatever reason, are in bed with the Dems. To h-ll with middle of the road candidates. We need a real conservative! If he wins at least he'll get the country back on its feet. And if we can't beat Bernie or Hillary it's all over anyway.

OC being an old Pirate fan since Eisenhower was president, I'd love for you to be right. But since I saw my G'daughters Evadale team beat Vidor, I can't imagine anyway they beat Ozen. Not just because Evadale beat them (was told a coach of a 22-5A school said we'd make the playoffs in their Dist), but Vidor's not quite that good imo. Hope I'm wrong. What's sad, your question has been out here 19 hours & no response (I was waiting for answer). Not enough interest in girls sports, and to many who are don't know about this site.

Yesterday I saw the video of the incident and was amazed that officer Hartnett exited his vehicle and pursued the attacker. As TVC pointed out, it would have been understandable (expected) for him to remain in the car until help arrived. Something almost everyone would do. Not him. If you were in combat this is the kind of guy you'd want in a foxhole with you. Above and beyond the call of duty? You bet! IMO What officer Hartnett did meets every criteria of the word hero.
