I remember my dad complaining about Fed aid to education. In my youthful ignorance I couldn't understand why. He said they'd control all you do and teach. Well, they are! All red States start indoctrination (teaching) immediately. Thus far, the blue states have retained some responsibility to "teach", but eventually, less some catastrophic event, that'll change. Then the American Youth Indoctrination will be complete. Once again, please tell me where or why I'm wrong? Don't care if you're conservative or liberal. Just please point out why I'm wrong, cause I don't like it one damx bit! I want to be wrong.

I can even remember when young folks smart enough to go to an Ivy League school were smart enough to think for themselves. And those same Ivy League schools encouraged free thinking. Appears now the goal is indoctrination. Now I'm no Ivy Leaguer (unless they've included Vidor High School without my knowledge), but this incident reminds me of what was done to the Hitler Youth. Eventually those young folks turned in their parents if they didn't toe the Nazi Party line. At this point, I don't doubt that's coming for our young Ivy Leaguers.

Let me put my 2 cents in. In all my many years, I don't remember any Secret Service derogatory news stories until recently (I'm sure there may have been a few). They were on a pedestal. Now, it's one after the other. I think I see a potential "cause and effect". What I'm not clear on is why. Current admin pick whackos or do the agents go whacko from being around the current admin? I'm gonna have to think on that.

If I was going to bet, I'd bet no hoax. The lack of criticism toward isis and their terrorists from the Muslim communities is, to me, evidence of a bigger problem than any PC Government can imagine.

Everyday I feel more like I'm in a Twilight Zone episode. Just a guess from an old man but in my mind, the Viet Nam war was the beginning of the end. I agree 100%, and my question, and I don't mean to be flippant, do the Dems and the POTUS actually believe it, or is it simply part of an agenda? To me, both possibilities sound far out, but I think it has to be one or the other. What say you guys?

As I know most of you are aware, the (brilliant) Founding Fathers put numerous checks and balances in our government. Repeatedly the current Administration has circumvented these. I fear we'll soon see the resurrection of "the Dark ages", for without those checks and balances all you have is a dictator (king, emperor, slave master).

All the bad, gruesome crap we usually discuss, it's nice to see post that bring (some of us) a little smile. Just the thot of El Chapo & isis going at it is refreshing. It'll never happen, but I like to think, what if..........
