Thanks Tex. Had big expectations at start of year, but after Vball p-offs, started our season w/2 days practice. Had 3 losses and lost 2 starters to injuries before we quit spiking the Ball. The two injured will be back soon and hopefully we'll have a deep run. Great experience for us playing Ltown, a quality program.

May not be pertinent to the Japanese refusing Muslim immigrants, but my tongue in cheek post that "they don't want all the BS baggage that comes with them" is one of my reasons that IMO we shouldn't let them here. They're not big on assimilating, and not big on criticizing the "25" bad, murdering, psychopathic, Muslims. If a self professed Christian commits an act of atrocity, most other Christians will publicly condemn that person. Don't seem to get that from Muslims. Maybe the Japanese figured that out and our leaders (?) are just to dadgum dumb or PC!

Ltown laser 3's not falling. Halftime Evadale up 20-18. End of 3rd Ltown up 43-36

When I saw the teams it was easy to pick Ltown. The Pool 1 & 2 winners play at 3. That'll pit the Lady Raiders against the Lady Rebels. Not sure but possibly the only 2 state ranked teams in the tournament. Seen these Raiders play - very impressive. Be there pulling for Lady Rebs though. PS. First time I've been able to get on Forum today. At 10:30 game Evadale def 5A Santa Fe 57-29.

In a Hollywood finish, as clock was running out, an Evadale girl made a layup to erase a 6 point deficit and defeat a Very Good LCM team 41-40. Elated for the Lady Rebels, but this old mans heart goes out to the LCM team, but I'm confident they'll get their share of victories this year.

Trying to understand what's unconstitutional about keeping Muslims out if Muslims don't want to assimilate and one of their main goals is to kill all non Muslims? Has the majority of Americans lost what little common sense they have left? Our Govt turned away thousand of Jewish refugees before & during WW2. This isn't the first time. I realize many of you are more intelligent than I am, so let me ask you a question. Can you honestly say that the Constitution is compatible with the teachings of Islam (Sheria [sp] Law)? Do you really think that? If so, my misspelling isn't half as bad as your understanding of that Law. And if I'm right, then all followers of Islam are against, or opposed to our Constitution. I'd like to paraphrase the oath I took upon joining the U.S. Army: "That I will defend the Constitution of the U.S. from all enemies, foreign and domestic." I bet our elected officials took a similar oath. Notice, defend the Constitution. How in the name of blue bell ice cream is letting folks in our country that want to destroy that same Constitution, defending the Constitution? Maybe it's just me. Closest I came to a law degree was watching every episode of Matlock, or sitting beside a lawyer at the basketball game tonight (who may have me committed lol). We watch it first time last night (3 episodes). Initially I thot it looked good, but at the end, like you, we're on the fence. Has potential, but writers don't seem to take advantage of it.

Yes, and it's a crying shame. I suspect Evadale scores are reported more than any others. There's a few folks stepping up though. Many of us would like to see more results of all the schools.
