This’ll be one of the premier games in the State. I’m pulling for the Stangs but Bellville looks awfully good. Neither team can afford many mistakes/turnovers. My best guess, Bellville 3 point favorite, and O/U at 46.

Thirty years ago, who’d ever dreamed so many HS would have Art Turf. No doubt many pros & cons, but definitely aesthetically attractive. And with the amount of rain we get in East Texas it makes the game better. Sadly most smaller schools will never get it, so if you miss the nostalgia of a grass field, there’ll still be plenty in the Evadale’s & West Hardin’s of SETX. Congrats to the Cardinals. Perhaps this will rekindle the football enthusiasm in Bridge City. Being in 11-4A-2 will tear your heart out.

I agree. Both teams were in building mode, and both have improved. Both may win State Titles. That says volumes. And despite who may win if there was a rematch, as you said, it’d be a heckuva game.

I think it may be time to congratulate China Springs on a great season, and good luck in basketball. Carthage beat a pretty durn good 5A-D2 Crosby team, and for those that didn’t watch any of it, they did it while trying to decide which QB to use. Spending almost half the game with the wrong one. They’re not just good, they’re real good. Would most likely win 4A-D1 and may could win 5A-D2. That’s just my opinion so don’t break your keyboard in rebuttal, I just think they’re that good, and with each Crosby win, it enforces my belief.

For those that contend that Rittenhouse shouldn’t have been where he was at the shooting, I’m curious why? Does the mob rule decide where we can be or not be? Several years ago, I came to the conclusion that Dems were not only wrong but were also insane. That was many, many lines ago. IF we go under the assumption the News reporting is correct, yes the Cops should be charged, BUT based on reporting we see so often from MSNBC & CNN, I doubt the validity of the story. Absolutely zero reason for Officers to open fire on that car. In fact, in most cases we no longer watch the News, but a dramatized biased fictional account of an event, worded not to report events but to support an agenda or increase viewer numbers. Another stat that isn’t recorded is the number of bad snaps by the opposing Centers, obviously thinking more about how to block Jordan than snapping the football.
