  1. There’s a few maybes, but HH losing to Livingston is not one I think likely. Livingston is like a body running around without a head.
  2. This is pretty much the deal in District 9 seeding: Kilgore/Lindale or Lindale Kilgore 1 & 2 (play next Friday) - Palestine -Chapel Hill & Mabank all should end 3-3. I think Mabank will be the one left out. Pal beat CH, but since 3 are tied, if they go points, Mabank will get third. Way over my head. District 10 if Vidor wins: Vidor - LCM - Ltown - HH If Vidor loses: LCM - Ltown - HH - Vidor
  3. I have Ltown winning in a close one. To many Pirates down. If the ship was full, Vidor by 20, but the Pirates have to many peg legged running backs. They have heart but that’ll only take you so far. BUT, if there’s some game mateys that come up from JV that are unbeknownst to me, the scourge of the Spanish Main may sail to victory. That said, don’t strike the colors just yet. Load the cannons and be prepared to repel boarders. Durn the Raiders and full speed ahead.
  4. The second string did a pretty good job but when you get down to third string, yep, depths a problem.
  5. Boys give it their all but with backups in the blocking suffered on the outside. Backups just don’t have the experience and I’m sure nerves were wound tight. We’ve been lucky injury wise, but it all caught up with us tonight.
  6. I R 1. 😂 👁 R 1 😂
  7. With the injuries Vidor has, I don’t see how they beat Ltown. Looks like a fourth seed & one and done. When running the Slot T, losing that many RB’s is the equivalent of other teams losing their QB and 2 top receivers. Cest la vie.
  8. Certainly some interesting officiating tonight. Not saying it cost Vidor the game, but they sure didn’t help. By far the most penalties Vidor has gotten all year. Way by far I’m thinking. And spotting the ball - lol, they turned it into an art form, especially that heavy set old umpire.
  9. Seems like every time we make yards they flag us.
  10. And he’s hurt.
  11. Maybe that blocked XP will be the difference. Wishful thinking I know.
  12. We sure missing Seppy.
  13. TexanLive hung up here.
  14. Hope the Vidor numbers are firm.
  15. Weird, saw someone post how Huffman was growing big. Can’t trust anyone these days.
  16. Depends who you’re listening too. This Pirate fan is expecting a knockdown drag out, and I’ll be happy with another 8-7 win.
  17. Dang it, I hope the Pirates win this game. A win tonight will pretty much ensure a #1 seed. The odd thing is, the way I figure Vidor will either be #1 seed, or lose both games and end up #4 seed. C’mon Pirates, git’er done.
  18. I’m surprised it’s that small. If y’all go up to 5A they’ll need to enlarge the place. Personally, I hope none of our District goes up but evidently HH is close & we all know Vidor & Ltown are.
  19. Lol, HH would use all three time outs right off the bat. What they doing Coach, and what’re we suppose to do? 😂🤣😂. I’d bet my last bottom dollar HH is at maximum pump up for this one. Standing wise, for them, it’s meaningless, but with most of those injured players back, they’ll want to beat Vidor & put everyone on notice - The Falcons are back. Seriously, this one meets all the definitions of an infamous “trap game”. Just hope the Pirates see it as such.
  20. Another good group of young men with moxie. I just hope they’re able to remain in 4A-D1. Most teams at the bottom of classifications are at a disadvantage, and in 5A-D2 it’s a big one.
  21. Isn’t that the truth.
  22. Very, very impressive. Rare to see so many would be tacklers that couldn’t bring him down.
  23. What kind of suckertrap question is that? U B sew bad. Vidor players and fans are concentrating on Huffman. Don’t pull that Jedi Mind trick 🐂💩. 😂 😂 🤣 😂 😂
