Hope y’all don’t get tired of reading this Pirates, there’s not a bigger game in Texas than y’all beating Huffman. Can’t emphasize this enough, focus on this game only. This is the most important game you’ll play. Old but true, one game at a time. I know you can win this game. Git’er done.

Not sure how OF approached this game, but evidently it meant a lot to BC. Great game Cards to keep it this close. OF has been on a roll. Last night it was a toilet paper roll. Not unusual to have a game like this for someone in OF’s position. The really good thing is to have it and still win.

That explains a lot. Probably not any 4A in the State, except maybe Carthage, that could have that many injuries and continue to win. I will say I hope the HH Coach keeps most of them out one more game. If Vidor, as I’m sure they will, breaks into the DC Top Ten, the Pirates not being used to that rarified air may quit playing with the same intensity. If they do, HH might donkey stomp them. Coach Matthews has his work cut out for himself. -
I’m 99% sure you can forget that stealth mode. With 2 teams losing and Vidor remaining undefeated, you can bet Vidor will be in that hallowed ground. The boys deserve the recognition, just hope they pat themselves on the back and concentrate on HH. Yes, talk about a trap game. Pirates lose next week and all kind of unhappy scenarios come into play, including a third place finish and meeting a very good team in round one. These kids deserve better than a one and done, but no ranking will give it to them. Got to keep playing at 110%.

If Vidor loses to Huffman, the Pirates could end up third in District if Ltown beats them. If Vidor beats Huffman, a loss to Ltown would leave a three way tie with Vidor, Ltown & LCM. Still a lot of football to play. Vidor better bring their A game. -
#6 Kilgore dodged a bullet winning against (4-4 / 1-3) Henderson 35-34. #8 Previously undefeated Kaufman got donkey stomped by Paris (5-3 / 3-2) 35-21. #7 Midlothian Heritage (6-2) lost to 40-28 to Waco La Vega (5-3 / 3-2) District 7 has three teams in DC top ten - Argyle, Melissa & Kaufman. Leaves only three undefeated in 4A-D1, #1 Austin LBJ, #2 Stephenville, and unranked Vidor. Is it just me or does that seem more weird than a horse fornicating with a cocker spaniel?

I’m pretty sure that’s correct. Not only is Vidor winning games but the Coach has become the “go to guy” in fashion circles, and perhaps overcome a severe case of superstition, 😂😂😂. But what little I know of him, just changed one superstitious trend for another. I just hope it keeps on working. I’m not superstitious but I haven’t changed my underwear since the season started. 😇😇😇

Sounds like a slobberknocker.

Was last year the first time the Pirates ever played Huffman?
-
They really need to upgrade their pre-district schedule. The only competition was EC I believe. But I did read their QB got hurt early tonight, so that’s half their offense (but half of nothing is nothing?).
-
DC has this a final at HH winning 41-7.
-
Seems like they’re on every week. I’d bet the Vidor game will be on.

Had to. -
Only by MAXPREPS. Of course DC Ranks are most prestigious.
-
LCM with another, up 33-24.
-
Congrats Pirates. So many so proud of you. Celebrate the win but by Monday, all effort toward beating Huffman.
-
Yes, howabout that. I got on one pollster on the other site about it.
-
After 6 Astros still up 1-0.
-
Raiders take 2nd Half opening KO & score to go up 24-19. LCM answers so it’s Bears 26-24. Going to be last man standing in Ltown.

Wow, this is last man standing. -
Seems I remember you saying you have relatives in Vidor area. If things get to bad, you’re certainly welcome to be a Pirate for a while.
-
Saw that. Rarely see that happen to the Indians.
-
Rarely have that option. Feels good.
-
Popular score. In 3rd Vidor up 34-0 over Livingston.

With Jordan there, last place I’m running for short yardage is up the middle.
