Btw, District 9 might have the two highest ranked teams (MaxPreps, and it’s not the most reliable, but merely a conversation piece) Kilgore & Lindale. But District 10 ranks higher overall in the 4A-D1 rankings. Dist 9 - K 7, L 8, Pal 32, Mab 29, Hen 30, CH 18, Ath 41. Avg 24 Dist 10 - V 9, LCM 10, Lt 16, Liv 22, HH 20, Sp 46. Avg 20.5 The theory is, the top two teams in both Districts should win the first round games fairly easily, which is how it should be. But….. things don’t always go like that. 🤔🙄🤔
