La Porte just posted for their head football job. Either it’s a misprint or something that’s probably never been done at the 6A level, but one of the job requirements is teaching 2 classes...a 6A head football coach being asked to teach 2 classes!! Unbelievable!

North Shore and Yates were 5A(today’s 6A). Daingerfield was 3A(today 4A)

Doesn’t get anymore serious than that team. People don’t understand that there were 4 guys on that team that played in the NFL. Four guys on a 3A team that played in the NFL!!!

I’m not laughing. Newton is a phenomenal team with incredible athletes; they survived and advanced but I’m hoping they come up with something resembling an offense before they face Canadian. I definitely agree that EB was very well prepared, and I certainly know that Newton is by far and away the best team in 3A D2, but that hully gully offense they put on display tonight almost cost them. Canadian will be their toughest test by far IMO. Another night of hully gully offense against the Wildcats could very well result in the Eagles being in another dog fight

EB is an extremely well coached team; Newton’s offensive scheme is a joke.

Those guys are genetically superior to any team in the state, and they obviously play incredibly well together. I can promise you Daingerfield is better than East Bernard. It took 2 Newton FG tries on 1st down to keep themselves from hitting the century mark on Daingerfield. Yikes!!!!

If I’m the East Bernard coach there’s no way I show the team any film of Newton. I mean those dudes are vicious.

DeSoto seems like an organized, well run school district; fire Todd Peterman who went 16-0 then turn around and force the superintendent to resign, and then hire some dude that has like a 30% winning percentage who after one season stepped down to be asst AD. Oh and now they called Peterman back seeing if he was interested! Make no mistake he laughed at em!

Could’ve very easily been 100-12. I believe they had a scoop and score blown dead and attempted a FG on 1st down...and the thing about it this wasn’t just some run of the mill football team they brutalized...it was Daingerfield!!
