EC should have won this game.

Playing very tight and nervous. They are fine, just need to settle down and play. Press is causing problems, just missing too many easy shots.

Here’s the problem with this play, the horn never sounds. And watch, none of the officials have a clue. This is will likely be a training video somewhere. I want to consult a veteran officials, and then I’ll answer your question.

It’s gameday! Jarrell’s reign as the best in 3A Region 3 end a tonight. Runnin’ Bucs going to roll, it’s our time let’s go get’em boys!! For real, I’m really proud of this basketball team. They’ve had an incredible year. Winning more games, than any other EC team has before. I’m glad they didn’t stub their toe before this point, so that we can have our shot at “the best”. Tonight is probably going to be the regional final, but an upset tomorrow would not surprise me. Good luck Runnin’ Bucs finish it off.

Will know at game time. I know a few kids were sick Tuesday night, and ended up going to the doctor the next day. Hopefully they are ready to go, the big one is if Guillory can go. EC is going to need to be at full strength ready to play.

It’s all about the whistle in HS. Clock is definitely on 0.0 when the officials hand goes into the air, and a horn never sounds. It’s a very tough call, that the official has to live with. And I promise you he has watched this video, probably over and over, thinking what he should or should not have done. There are several different scenarios that could have played out from this call. 1. What occurred, 3 shots with like .1 on the clock. 2. Decide the whistle was after the clock hit 0.0, no foul go to OT. which in the officials defense he doesn’t have instant replay. 3. Spot foul, inbound the ball with like .1 on the clock. Or shoot bonus. 4. He swallows his whistle, and doesn’t call anything.

So I heard Teague did not press Jarrell last night. So I doubt Jarrell has seen a team press like EC can. EC will have to get the pace of the game uptempo, so Jarrell’s big man doesn’t become a big factor. One thing I know about EC, it doesn’t matter if you are 7’0 or 5’0 they will not back down.

To me, this is the regional final. No offense to the other two teams, especially Kountze who is playing outstanding right now. Kountze I still don’t believe will matchup well with EC, and if Jarrell beats EC I would take them over Kountze-Grandview.

Kountze wins this game! Hope EC is the on waiting for them.
