  1. Its going to be a dog fight for sure. What does the Hill have coming back next year? Vidor is losing 2 senior starters.
  2. Should be some very good games. I think the districts are pretty evenly matched this year. Vidor has had solid pitching all year but cant seem to get timely hits with runners in scoring position. From what I have read that's been a problem in 21-5A as well this year?
  3. I think the Vidor/KWP series could come down to who has the best number 3 on Saturday? From the games I have seen in 22-5A pitching has not been the problem with Ned, Vidor,& PNG. Timely hitting has been an issue. I would not overlook Payne at Lumberton.
  4. When I posted it I thought there was a game left next Tuesday in 21-5A..
  5. I wouldn't like that. Having to use up pitching before a playoff series starts is never good.
  6. If Porter and Kingwood Park win out how do they determine seeding in 21-5A?
  7. They are easy targets.. Both pitchers were on there game last night. A few walks got Payne in trouble. Kizer had 10ks and threw a complete game on 87 pitches I believe? That's the reason Lumberton lost. This was a 1 to 0 game in the top of the 7th with 2 outs. If Payne doesn't have to come out because of pitch count they still lose 1 to 0.
  8. Statements like these kill me. The umpire had no vested interest in who won this game. No doubt Payne threw a great game but the kid from Vidor is pretty good also.
  9. Vidor at Nederland start time moved up to 5 Friday. Jv playing after varsity weather permitting.
  10. 19 to 1 Vidor bottom 3
  11. Played Wednesday. Vidor won 9 to 1
