please, central has much more team speed than lumberton does Well, here's my coulda woulda shoulda take on the game, you can take it or leave it Vidor Peerat. If L-Train coulda got over their fumblitis or at least recovered their own fumbles, they woulda in all likelyhood won, that being said, as many fumbles as we had/lost, I personally think Central shoulda stomped a hole in the Raiders tonight. I am really surprised Central didn't come away with at least 42 more points, give the Lumberton Defense some huge props for containing this game and never letting the Jags run away with it. On the other side, props to the Jags for jumping on all those fumbled balls. Both teams played well considering the greased pig they were trying to hang on to. Thank goodness, the penalties were pretty much at a minimum this week. The team that took the best care of the ball came away with the win, congratulations. On a side note, I think teams who commit penalties on purpose just to burn up a little more time should receive a loss of down as well as the negative yardage. i'm not the one with the coulda here man, he's the one saying that, i am simply countering his statement, i did not say a thing about the weather, all i said was that central has more team speed, please read more carefully before you criticize me

they shut down a very fast ozen offense all night long, ozen had 1 long play and that was it

Go ahead and include yourself in that slower team category. ;D I'm using you as an example since you guys were the ones that put up 50+....but yes, we are also in that slower category. I know just messing with you.. We negated there speed with the power running game.If you try and spread them out and run the ball.....Well I just dont see that happening You know, we still could have used our speed stop yall from scoring so many points. We could have brought our LB's up and shot a couple of speedsters in the gaps to stop that power running game of Vidor's. Our coach was content to giving your the 5 yard runs vs taking a chance shooting the gaps and having our players tackle the wrong player and giving up a long run or even paydirt. I think he relied on your players coughing the ball up getting hit once you made it in the secondary. But we can't complain. Our coach went with that game plan and it appeared that it worked. If you guys were giving up 5 yard runs mostly, it is very hard to understand how they put 40+ up in regulation???? Seems they would have chewed the clock up. We hittem with a few 40 and 50 yarders but would get caught on the 10 or 20 and then punch it in. I believe we averaged over 8 yards a carry but would have to go back and look at the stats to be sure. i think it was a little over 8 also

# 10 was pretty fast, other than that i didn't see it much either

i predict central by 2 scores, hopefully it will be more though, nothing against the raider players, but alot of the fans are rediculous, i hope central stomps a mud hole in lumberton and leaves no room for the raider fans to cry about something, GO JAGS!!!

They have that we are better than everyone reputation.Last week we there was a thread that went 10 pages or more dogging the facilties over at Livingston and low and behold we show up in Lumberton and what do we find? A field with no hash marks,scoreboard that wouldn't be allowed on a peewee field and a PA sytem donated from the closed down drive in movie theater.I geuss thats how L-Town got there reputation. the game is over and vidor won that's that. both teams played sloppy last night and we have to admit that. regardless we will can't ask ourselves WHAT IF the game had went this way would the Raider have wont? Truth is we will never know! The game wasn't a total give away and you know it! Both teams did great. And as for who has the better parking. who cares! I mean really! It's stupid to argue over parking. exactly, there are parking alternatives at both stadiums, they do the best they can with what they have

Nicely Wrote..From what i hear My Nephew told me that they've been through every snapper this week..so this should get better,,Other than that your Accurate on all points..And the Secondary Should get better these are all 1st time starters so just a few early season Jitters.. And your right..This years Defense Brings the Hat HARD ..Cant wait for the Vidor, Central Game Thats good to here...I hope Central puts it on them!! I certainly don't condone injuring players on purpose, but Central D, hit the Peerats hard enough that when L-Town plays them and makes the first hard hit they have flashbacks and get scared. Vidor always plays us scared and I dont see this year being any different ;D peerats i like it oldtimer did vidor play you "scared" last night???

i completely agree here, there were calls that went both ways, i am normally the guy that calls out the refs right off the bat, but i'm not on this one, they're human' they're going to make mistakes, i saw that the game was fairly reffed, central came out on top, great game guys, i still think we should have passed more though, the deep post to laramore was open all night long

also i think this needs to be said i'd like to throw a shoutout to the central fans as i was walking out of the stadium i was met by about 5 central fans shaking our hands and telling us good game excellent show of class and sportsmanship, on and off the field i'm a central jaguar fan every night except for one!!!
